Loved everything, location is close to the park gate. Stuff was friendly and open to communication, ready to help. The manager helped us to book tickets in advance with little discount. She made the perfect route for a two days trip, so we didn’t have to line for hours. Thanks❤️

It was a quiet, clean accommodation, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast and the latte were good. The room was cleaned every day, clean towels, and tooth brushes were provided each day. Steven speaks English and helped us a lot booking tickets to the parks and mountains and organising our trips, making our stay hassle free and enjoyable. They also provide free transfer from the airport.

I had a fantastic stay at Yoba Hotel. The view from my room was comfortable and clean, The hotel is beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to make me feel at home and providing great tips on exploring the area. Highly recommended.

Mary was an amazing host . Accommodation top notch , food fabulous and owner was helpful beyond belief. We had one and a half days in the park and managed to get to see the so much thank to the itinerary and support provided by our host Mary. She even realised we were running late for our train getting through through the park she suggested getting our driver she had booked for us to meet us at the exit point of the park. She goes beyond what you would expected of a host and we are so fortunate to have booked her homestay . We plan to come back 🙏

    The staff there were very welcoming, able to speak english to converse and even helped us get us cheaper tickets for the national park and their Charming xiangxi show. The location of the stay is just a 10mins walk from the southern gate of the national park which is very convenient for anyone visiting the avatar mountains. Around the stay is also an open field mountain side farm which is great for a morning stroll if you want. Our room was well maintained and clean. Toilet has a bidet so that was a plus. Also a bonus, our room had a automatic mahjong table which anyone can enjoy. They provide a simple breakfast for you to choose from, no complains. You can also order dinner from them at an earlier time and be ready at the timing you want, with local meats and veges which was very nice and filling! The owner of the stay is also very nice, I left my jacket at the stay forgetting about it and he offered to help express mail my item to my next stay and was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process! This stay is definitely worth a shot, away from the usual city stays, you get to stargaze a little at night away from the city lights. Give it a shot!

    A very enjoyable trip, the hotel breakfast was great, the staff was very attentive and helped us to get a phone card for China, It was a great way to pay attention to information, internet access, etc. The room was great and the style was very nice. They also helped us to book the park tickets and told us how to take the bus and how to travel the park route more easily. If you go to Zhangjiajie to play recommend this hotel.

    Beautiful national park to explore and less touristy town full of interesting cuisine and local attractions , not too crowded but lively in the evenings, mountains and glass walk ways amazing , some beautiful under rated ancient Buddha Temples at the top of Tianmin mountain we enjoyed more than Beijing

    A very unique place to be. A must visit place.

    A very unique place to be. A must visit place. We loved it even though we can’t read Chinese and speak a little only. We enjoyed our very short time there. Even in the rain it was great fun. Wear waterproof trainers when it’s rainy season as your feet will get wet and it can be slippery with the wrong footwear.

    City with very friendly people from the hotel, the Metro and the tourist places. We loved the Orange Island and the photos we took will always give us memories. The food was not any different from ours back home but it was more tasty. It was easy for us to get around using the metro and taxis.

    Stunning!

    Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

    Great place to be!

    Great place to be! The cost of food and everything is noticeably cheaper compared to the major cities of china. High recommend it if you are a night owl, this city never sleeps and is great for grabbing a drink and late night meal. There are also alot of hidden gems up in the mountains.

    Amazing place.

    Amazing place. My focus was in the nature and zhangjiajie definitely delivered. Everything went super smoothly, but couple didi drivers tried to scam more money by adding extra fees in the app. Luckily didi customer service was good and got it fixed. Besides that small thing everything else was 10/10 for me, i strongly recommend visiting.

    The view of the river is so majestic, both during the day and the night! For women, the traditional attire rental is something everyone should try. The booking for Hanfu and Mao clothing are not available online though, but its everywhere once you are in the town.

    Although large population, residents are provincial.

    Although large population, residents are provincial. Lacks the charm of other cities. Entry into downtown area nearly impossible. Traffic unbelievable. Only one entry into main area. Left earlier than anticipated because of the nature of the city. Couldn't be bothered to see more.
