I just wish that I was traveling with at least one other person, because the tents can very comfortably sleep 4 people. To that point, the mattresses were the perfect firmness, the pillows were huge and heavenly, and the comforters were really nice as well. The "living room" of the tents was spacious and included folding chairs, shelving, and a standing lamp. The campgrounds were quite nice, including a kitchen, bar/restaurant, and other seating/social areas. I used both the firepits and the chimneys to cook food, and had some bonfires using the wood you can purchase on site. They partner with a group that offers lots of fun physical activities in the area. I highly recommend trying out the nearby via ferrata.Guest review byEvanUnited States

A great launching pad for walking in the area. Hřensko itself is fairly basic, but with a few decent restaurants serving local dishes. Plenty of tat to buy on street stalls too if you want presumably knock-off Nike hoodies, watches where the hands fall off or a wide selection of butterfly knives. It's a base for hiking, not a place you would visit in itself. Access is easy by train and a 1 minute ferry trip across the Elbe. Teplice (pronounced Teplitsa) is a spa town, with a small area of historic buildings in the centre. It is well served by trolleybuses and buses to all areas. Charming medieval Bohemian city, out of the way of most tourists. Do not miss the Gothic exhibition in the Galerie umění, featuring the altarpieces by the Master of Litoměřice. I would recommend 2 days - one for Litoměříce, and one for Terezín/Theresianstadt, just 3km away. Most is in general a nice place, they have a hockey hall, a lake worth visiting, especially in summer, there is a racing track and a castle. Food as in general for Czech republic is great, I would recommend Irish pub and their famous pork knuckle and tartar. In Most, you mostly walk around the city, for visiting racetrack and lake you can use a taxi as there are plenty, the only problem is, that Most taxi drivers only speak Czech language but a bit of google translate does the job.Guest review byJureSlovenia - 8.0

Žatec features a nice central square with a recently restored town hall, a big church and a one-of-kind town gate. We discovered a huge synagogue (still under restoration) that reminds one of the Moorish architecture of Prague's Sephardic synagogue. We found it difficult to find a normal Czech restaurant in the evening. Žatec is known among the Czech because of its hop and its beer. Really liked the area, the location of the hotel. Hospitality was fine but some things were really amateuristic or even unprofessional, like very bad English and / or German speaking staff. The restaurant is an absolute no go. A home made version of mint tea seems to be a tea bag in hot water and home made fries come from the freezer. Hrensko is beautifully placed village, destroyed by selling stands with all kind of "garbage". I do understand that this is city on the border (CZ-DE) so "overboarder trade" is local business, however either those kind of stalls should be placed outside of the walking center (e.g. on the river bank on the way to the border), or it should be nicely designed, not to destroy the beauty of the village.
