The apartment was in a quiet serene area. Walking distance to Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Rewe supermarket within walking distance. Bustop right outside the apartment. Apartment was fully equipped and had all the amenities one may require. Cosy, clean and beautiful. Hot showers, comfortable beds, sun room. Berlin is a city that ticks a lot of boxes. Really interesting from a historical point of view, great transport, good for shopping and plenty of restaurants. Also, prices are not too high, certainly cheaper than Dublin! Lots of beautiful parks. Also, take a trip to Potsdam and Wansee, a short, easy journey from Berlin.Guest review byClaireIreland - 10.0
Berlin s easy to get around on public transportation.
Berlin s easy to get around on public transportation. I highly recommend a walking tour with a guide when you first arrive. We saw all of the major highlights in the 3 hour tour. Much of the city is oversized and spacious which I didn't expect. The city looks like it is in constant rebuilding mode. We ended up being there during the 2025 Berlin Marathon so there were crowds everywhere. It still didn't hamper our experience though. We were planning on joining the Hop On Hop Off Bus, but the day we wanted to do it was Sunday - Marathon day - and the buses were not running. We did take a river cruise which was enjoyable. If I return - I will add in a day to visit Potsdam at the very least. I recommend no less than 4 days to visit the city. 5-6 would allow for a quick day to Potsdam and maybe some other attractions outside of central city.Guest review byLisaUnited States
