The hotel is modern and very clean, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. It's a large hotel, so it's also suitable for groups. The breakfast is extensive, with something for everyone and very plentiful. They're also generous with check-out times and requests in general. Parking is free and plentiful. Overall, it's GREAT! For me, the best thing about the hotel is that the rooms have real shutters, so you can sleep in complete darkness, even in the bathroom. Very welcoming, helpful, friendly, great breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel, also excellent. For me though, the icing on the cake was the storage for bicycles. Never in many hotel stays whilst cycle-touring have I seen somewhere where they have gone to such lengths. Not only was there brand new secure storage, but it had also been equipped with tools and charging facilities for those on e-bikes (not me, but can still appreciate the effort taken to accommodate them!). I am biased because I used to spend annual summer holidays staying with my grandparents when I was little and have loved every minute. This is a wonderful rental apartment. Spacious, and great location. Parking was great for our rental car. The water pressure was awesome in the shower. Very modern features, like the TV that had Netflix and could change the language to English on some channels. Grocery stores were nearby.
