My third stay here and it is still perfect for cyclists and hikers and for groups and families. Arriving wet and muddy, the welcome is warm. Refreshed by a warm shower and coffee and cake in the restaurant. Dinner, usually a buffet, was an Easter special and very good value. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There are laundry facilities and a bike workshop if needed and plenty of space to relax and recover from the day's exertions.

Quirky hotel with automated check-in that works great. If you are on the autobahn and need a good night's sleep - stay here. Parking is free during the night hours only, so be careful.     A very good spa hotel with modern facilities that are in top condition and, as noted by many others, a fantastic breakfast. The room (their cheapest) was larger (25 square meters) than in most similar hotels and was spotless with excellent day service. The hotel is very easily accessed by autobahn A7. One small negative is that there is no Kur garden as in some similar spa hotels. However, a map with suggested walks was available. The owners have a similar hotel in Dinkelsbühl. We look forward to visiting again.

    The hotel is very clean and nice, very short walk to the city center. Our room was big enough for a family with kids, with very comfy beds. The view from our hotel room was spectacular. We want to especially thank the girl that works at the reception, she was super nice and super friendly, she helped us tremendously with our issue with Europecar.     This was the best hotel my wife and I ever stayed at! Breakfast and dinner is included in the price. The food was amazing; especially the breakfast. Next, we had the junior suite and it was comfortable, spacious, and had two bathrooms. FYI, there are no kids allowed here due to some pool areas people are allowed to be naked.

    Center of Nuremberg was almost leveled in WW2.

    Center of Nuremberg was almost leveled in WW2. The postwar reconstruction of buildings mostly created replacement buildings in a bland style, though the street layout remained. The churches were very well restored. I liked nearby Bamberg better on a day trip from Nuremberg. (45 minutes by Regional Bahn train.)

    Lovely city to have a stop during my drive to a business meeting. City has nice architecture and the Donau river gives the extra touch. Enough possibilities to have a nice lunch and diner. Can recommend Burgerheart when you want some nice American experience. Loved the peer-melon limonade. Went now two year in a row to Regensburg and can't wait for the next one.

    A very interesting historical city, much of which has been lovingly restored after devastating air raid damage in WW2. The Residence I(and its gardens) are well worth visiting, being a smaller scale version of the palaces at Versailles and Charlottenburg. Don't miss the Hofkirche while there. The Marienberg Fortress on the hill overlooking the town offers fantastic views, but is currently being extensively refurbished. It is still worth visiting though. And if you like visiting churches, you will not be disappointed here. Fantastic cuisine and wine available here. we can heartily recommend Aifach Resins and zum Stachel, the former for more contemporary cuisine and the latter for more traditional fare in traditional and historic surroundings.

    We’ve been there before and always enjoy visiting. It’s a beautiful and historic medieval town that is protected by a double ring of fortifications upon which you can walk. Not far from the Frankfurt airport. Incredible views, great restaurants and shopping. In a word: MAGICAL! And the food of this region in Germany is fantastic!

    We were taken to at least two eating places: One near the train station; The Curry House Restaurant where I had a taste of Pork and another restaurant, southern end of FAU Institute, we had very tasty Pizza. Getting around Erlangen is quite easy considering affordable buses are all over the place. Next time I would avoid moving around the city by taxi instead of buses

    This is Mecca for Wagner fans in July and August. The acoustics of the Festspielhaus are superb and unique--no other place achieves that blend of voice and orchestra. Bayreuth is a charming, real town--nothing kitschy or twee about it. Several good restaurants; and everyone stays open late to accommodate festival goers.

    Plenty of Oriental food outlets also hairdressers and men's barbers....only one Italian restaurant to be found. Lots of Chinese restaurants couldn't find traditional German restaurants. Which was a shame.

    A surprising big-little city outside Nürnberg with a rich history. Architectural highlights from Art Deco. Walkable. Some beautiful churches. US army base has been re-purposed as a sort of yuppy neighborhood. Major park contains a coffee shop to watch the locals. Look for the Florentine tower in the city center.

    Our experience at this accommodation was terrible from start...

    Our experience at this accommodation was terrible from start to finish. The staff were extremely rude, unprofessional, and aggressive. They refused to speak English, even when we asked politely, and insisted on speaking only in German with a visibly hostile attitude. When we arrived, they tried to charge us more than the price listed online. We ended up booking the room through Booking.com, where the price was half of what they initially asked us for. Even though the listing said “free parking on site,” they charged us extra for it anyway. The room itself was a disaster — dirty, old, smelly, and clearly not maintained. When we tried to take a shower after a long day, we discovered there was no hot water. We went to reception to ask for help, and again, the receptionist refused to speak English. Eventually, he claimed the entire building had plumbing issues. However, minutes later, he said he could give us another room with hot water — clearly contradicting his earlier excuse. We waited for him to show us the new room, but he just left us standing there. When we asked again, he started shouting in German and refused to help us any further. In the end, we had no choice but to take cold showers and go to bed extremely disappointed. We tried to report the issue through Booking.com, but unfortunately received no response. This place was truly a nightmare, and I would strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs.
