- From US$114.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 2,071 reviewsVery good hotel! Perfect location, reasonable price including breakfast. It was very clean in rooms, so clean and new bed textile, regular daily room cleaning. It was exceptionally polite personnel, staff at the front desk helped to solve all questions. It is also convenient, that there is a big parking right behind the corner of the hotel. I would like to emphasize that the breakfast was simply amazing: home made style of omelette was combined with selection - 8 salads, 9 mild cheese, 6 hard cheese, salmon, sausages, meatballs. You could have as well serials, croissants, toasts, joghurts, and what is amazing - champagne! I have read in previous comments, that railway near hotel makes noise and I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel staff took the complaints into consideration and earplugs were provided for everyone in the rooms. But actually we didn't hear the noise, it depends which side faced the window. Also note that only two hotels in Rüdesheim including Traube Hotel have a driveway in front of the hotel, to all the others you have to carry your things from the parking lot by foot.Guest review byIrinaUkraine
- From US$148.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,098 reviewsWe had a great view of the river from our room, the air conditioning was so pleasant, specially when it was about 33 degrees outside. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everyone spoke English. The location was perfect for us, close to the fortress where we went on a concert. Parking lots were right next to the hotel. They have a swimming pool that is always nice. And the breakfast was delicious much to choose from. They also have a coffee bar. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the river, it was lovely. This hotel has everything we wanted. We will stay here again.Guest review byLineNorway
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 474 reviewsWe didn't realize this is one of the Relais & Châteaux hotels before we arrive, and we're totally satisfied after arrival. Pretty nice holiday getaway hotel with good location, view, facility and friendly staff. There is a gift riesling in the room(yes of course, this is Geisenheim, riesling is the reason that brought us here), and it is a pretty tasty one. The hotel has a fine restaurant attached to it, but we didn't have a chance to try due to reservation issues.Guest review byMi JunChina

Situated beautifully 2,5 kilometres from the city centre outlooking over the Rhein and the wine yard. Nice room with balcony. Good bed. We booked a table in the evening and had a good meal with a Riesling from the winery. Slept very well and got a very good breakfast. We bought six bottles of the Riesling as a memory of our stayGuest review byKarinSweden

Altstadt and Deutsche Ecke, cable cart over the Rhine to...
Altstadt and Deutsche Ecke, cable cart over the Rhine to castle, Altes Brauhaus. Options to make Rhine/Mosel cruise (from 1-3 hrs). Many nice restaurants and (whine)bars. Live music in cafe Hahn, Irish pub and some other locations (check locally). Good public transport (for e.g. to go to cafe Hahn or to Oktoberfest). Pitty that renting a simple bike is not so easy (not so many options, no guided bike tours offered, renting a bike is usually an electric bike, not cheap). If you want to make a bike tour, bring bike yourself. Also usefull to use instead of local transportation. And borders of the Mosel or Rhine are nice to make a bike tour.Guest review byBearke_MNetherlands - 8.0

The town is a tourist magnet, but for those who know the Rheingau also a Mecca, neighbouring Gesienheim has the University where many Rheingau wine makers will have studied. The whole Rheingau is within reach, the steep Rüdesheim vineyards above the town are wonderful and peaceful for walking, those with less energy can take the chairlift. We tried the Spanish restaurant near the Bahnhof and Breuer's Schloss restaurant opposite (4 metres away) from the Hotel Lindenwirt where we stayed and also ate and drank. They had some nice (think craft) alco free beers.Guest review byDr. MichaelGermany - 8.0
A great base for exploring this part of the Rhine.
A great base for exploring this part of the Rhine. Only basic impressions as this was a stop over night en route between Bavaria and the UK. Atmospheric market place, guesthouse just a few steps away and excellent bakery for breakfast made up for a largely rainy night. Would definitely be a candidate for further exploration in the area.Guest review byAshley WilliamsUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Its a small Rhine River town with a nice selection of stores. It's quiet and an old castle you can walk or drive up to. It's a great small town to take a break within short dive to explore other Rhine towns north and south of St Goar.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 8.0

Remagen was convenient for me for an overnight st, coming by train from Edinburgh on the day, and likewise as an overnight stop on the last day of my holiday. All travel was, of course, by train. On my first visit I had to visit 'the bridge'. A very historic place.Guest review byAlex BomphrayUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bad Ems in late September is a very quiet small town in a beautiful setting along the Lahn river. It has a lot of history in the Spa- business, quite a few impressive buildings remind of the past when crowned heads and other celebrities came here. In the direct vicinity there a plenty of hiking trails. Many interesting spots for day trips nearby: Koblenz, Drachenfels, the Rhine- and Mosel valleys with castles, the Loreley, wine tasting, the Maria Laach lake, Lava Dome in Mendig.Guest review byHenkNetherlands - 10.0
Bingen is touristy.
Bingen is touristy. This is not a place for people who are looking for solitude. The ferry takes you straight to Rüdesheim and you can explore the vineyards from there. In the city you can find restaurants, butchers, bakeries and shops. The city is safe and friendly.Guest review byChristophGermany - 10.0
The village is beautiful. The people are friendly.
The village is beautiful. The people are friendly. The river cruise was short, but we already knew that. The whole area was a great setting for exploring both the Rhine valley and the Mosel valley. Their local food and wines are excellent.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

The catles on the Rhein and Moselle were fascinating. Especially good is Marksburg. Koblenz is quite large so there was quite a lot of walking. The city centre still feels like a destination - no boarded-up shops!Guest review byGarethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I came to Rüdesheim for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery, and I was not disappointed! I did observe that the tourist crowd tends toward older people. The Drosselgasse can get quite lively during the evening, but on a Monday night, the whole town seems to shut down around 10pm. This may not be an ideal vacation hotspot for the young, hip, 20-30-something crowd, but if you are looking for natural beauty, local history, and a nice, quiet, chill community to spend a few days, then I'd definitely recommend Rüdesheim!Guest review byKatherineUnited States
