Amazing nice little hotel in the center of Sarrelouis. Very chic, very cosy, the atmosphere is quiet and elegant, perfect for a November rainy week-end.     This hotel is the best place where you can go for accomodation or for a relax or just to feel the atmosphere there. Everything is perfect. The food is so tasty, the staff is very polite, the swimming pool is great! We stay just for overnight before flight but it's more than worth to go there for relax. We booked half board and the dinner was 3course, very very tasty, the restaurant is very coisy and the personal was perfect too. The breakfast is very rich, high quality and good choice. There are 2 saunas and a roof-top swimming pool. The water in the pool is not too warm, but as outside was freezing - it was good. Just go and try this hotel - it's really more than worthy ❤️

    This is really an amazing place, so charming and cozy. We liked it since the moment we parked our car in front. All the surroundings and the hotel itself are wonderful! The staff is super friendly and nice. The room was warm and cozy. Maybe we had luck, but the swimming pool area was not crowded at all and we really enjoyed it. The dinner and the breakfast were very delicious. There is also a bar, where we tested some cakes with beer and we were not disappointed at all :) This is a perfect place to relax and be close to the nature. I would highly recommend it, we will be back for sure :)

    Very nice guesthouse in a convenient location. In a walking distance from the lake Bostalsee. The room was large and clean. There's a private bathroom and also a small kitchen corner. The Internet was working reliably. The included breakfast is very good. The check-in is announced as 1-4 pm but we got the keys in a key box, so maybe the times are not so restrictive. We enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to come back again.

    This is the capital of the Saarland area, so has all the...

    This is the capital of the Saarland area, so has all the amenities of a big town. It has a mainline railway station, and "big town" shops. The centre is pedestrianised, and the old town area of the town is very attractive, with lots of cafes and bars. Around the wider area, the museum of the old, and very large steelworks in Voelklingen is very interesting, and so is the Karlsberg brewery in Homburg and the underground caves there. The Saarschleife bend in the river is beautiful, and there is a high pathway from which to get a better view of the spectacular scene. The local town is Mettlach, and it's a small and pretty place. You can visit the Villeroy and Boch museum and factory outlet there, which are also worth a visit! Slightly further up the line is Trier, the oldest town in Germany, and it still has plenty of Roman architecture. It's also in the German Rhineland vineyard area, so well worth a visit! Cheers!

    We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

    My family was originally from Sankt Wendel, Oberlinxweiler, and Remmesweiler, so it is a special place for our family. But it is a great town for staying (nice restaurants, pretty church, and more) for anyone whether you had relatives there or not.

    Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.

    A quiet place with all we needed.

    A quiet place with all we needed. A good place to do sightseeing, by bike, on foot, by car. Great place to be in the garden as well. Not a lot of eating places but the kitched is well equiped. You can easily cycle into Luxembourgh or France.
