We arrived in the middle of the night and completely exhausted, but the guy at the reception was really nice, extremely helpful and even funny at that hour - big thank you! Our room was perfectly equipped, even it wasn't spacious there was everything we needed: coat hangers, desk, places to put our stuff etc. The beds were comfy and everything seemed clean.

It looks and is luxurious but as a casual traveller I didn't feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. A very friendly an open atmosphere. The room was good, clean and comfortable. Classic Danish North Sea beach hotel. Beautiful setting on a high hill with views of the sea. Getting to the beach is a long walk (we drove our car). Great hiking in forests and grass covered dunes close by. Loved walking through the hotel's very large garden area where they grow a lot of their own food for their restaurant. Also many nice enclosed sitting areas in the garden. This hotel is best for people who enjoy walking and biking, nature in general, home-grown food. Rooms and hotel in general were very clean.

Aalborg is interesting but not a must-see city that gives a perspective on North Jutland's geography. It has a student feel. Plan your visit for Tuesday-Saturday, as many museums are closed Sunday and Monday.

The local village and surrounding countryside has a lot of character from being by the seaside .There are many beautiful nature area's worth seeing. There is a very tricky police speed trap camera near entrance to village ,would recommend visitors to be very careful.

Aalborg is clean and efficient and a nice place to visit if, like me, you have to go on a business visit. Good transport links to the airport (just 10 minutes by train) and seems easy to get around on foot. Food is fine and everyone seems to speak perfect English! Take a sweater or cardigan for the evenings!

It's a small cute city.

It's a small cute city. Easy to walk around and very friendly. If I had an extra day I would have ventured out to see egholm and possibly the zoo. But I was happy strolling the river in the evening and walking around the town int he time I was here. Check out the colourful houses and coffee shops
