EstoniaWell decorated, had lots of good add-ons like coffee, toiletries, oven, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Location is close to the city center (we didn't mind walking, it was 10-15 minute walk to the castle). There was also a rimi and coop nearby.

We sailed up from Virtsu port to Puise port and I booked this place several days before as it has a very unique, authentic, and comfortable look. I didn't think it would be much trouble at all to get from Puise to Altmõisa but it was more challenging than expected. Altmõisa said they couldn't send anyone for us and the taxi companies weren't answering calls or didn't find anyone willing to come and get us from the port. Fortunately one of the owners and staff from the Puise harbor inn was around and gave the 3 of us a ride to Altmõisa hotel. It would have been a long and late hike of about 2 hours if we wanted to stay at the hotel otherwise. I was in contact with the hotel and they graciously had someone stick around to serve us a late dinner which was very nice and accompanied by some local libations. They were very gracious in that regard and it serves testament to their dedication to please their guests.

This place has it all for a cozy visit in beautiful Haapsalu. It is centrally located close to everything yet with possibility to park the car. When you step into the apartment you can see and feel that everything is thought through and designed with attention to detail with lots of care. Decorated exactly fit to the buildings atmosphere including nice pieces from local Estonian designers . Kitchen is equipped with all the necessities you would need if you decide to cook a meal. Living room has a comfy couch to snuggle up to watch tv or to read a book. Bedding and bed linen fit to a premium hotel assures a great night sleep. Also there is a restaurant in the same building that is a must visit if open. Best part is the hospitality, hostess makes sure you have everything you need by staying in contact even after checked in.

It was a very nice little house. Everything you would need for a good time was there. There were BBQ-s, place to make a nice fire and toast marshmallows, a private sitting place with a roof, nice saunas and kitchen equipped with basics. The house itself was quite noise cancelling as well because neighbouring housing was closeby and their blasting music was not heard inside the house.

we loved it so much, we returned for a second night. A really nice hotel with spa facilities, which does get crowded, and excellent and varied breakfast, both included in the price .
Both rooms we stayed at were super to clean and nice, and out favorite feature was the heated bathroom floor.
Both rooms had beautiful view of the lake. Good for walking around. Absolutely recommended!

Very good location, close to the port, rrestaurant, beach and grocery shop. Reception and service is pleasant. Modern rooms, WC in the room but shower shared. As it is small place then no problem at all. All clean, comfortable. Good wifi. Big shared TV room with terrace. Would stay again. This area is beautiful.

The Swedish-Estonian Museum is a must-see, especially the mural. It can be difficult to drive, because the streets are curvy, but easy to walk around in. There are wonderful craft stores, often better than in the capital city.

A charming, historical spa resort much favoured by the late 19th/early 20th Century Russian aristocracy, Haapsalu is faded now but still has an elegant charm. The old railway station (sadly disused since 1995), now a museum, was even specially constructed with an imperial pavilion so that the Tsar and his family could arrive and depart without having to wait with the commoners.
The Promenaadi on the seafront is beautiful and the ruined castle in the town centre is well worth visiting.
The Wiigi and Kuursaal restaurants are particularly good.
