- From US$279.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 821 reviewsA Perfect Getaway – We’ll Definitely Be Back! This beautifully maintained hotel is set in a stunning bay, with a scenic seaside promenade perfect for walks. Snorkeling is easy right off the beach, and there’s even a dive club on-site for the more adventurous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped — ideal for a relaxing stay. The resort features three lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers; no need to rush or reserve. The food is great: the buffet is varied and enjoyable, and the à la carte restaurant rivals a top European brasserie in quality and atmosphere. The staff — from the pool and evening bars to the restaurants — are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. They’re present without being pushy, especially when it comes to tips, which makes you feel at home. The entire resort — rooms, gardens, bars — is kept spotlessly clean. The reception and PR officers are always available and eager to help. Entertainment runs all day and well into the evening, with something for every age. Fun pool games, darts, volleyball, and more are on offer daily. This place ticks all the boxes for a great holiday — we’ll definitely return!Guest review byfreddyBelgium
- From US$184.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 91 reviewsOasis", i had an idea and picture in my mind of the meaning of this word before our trip. After our trip, i can truly say i found a little gem of a diversparadise in Marsa Alam. From arriving in the airport to saying goodbye at the end of our trip, we were greeted with so much warmth, kindness and professionalism that will blow your mind totally in the positive way 😁 The hotel, a collection of little houses with seaview, and opendeck restaurant give you the feeling of being in a tiny community, actually divefamily. Food is buffetstyle in the morning and evening and even possible for lunch. We chose a la carte for lunch. Always tasty, never blend or boring and even spicy is an option 😉 We stayed 7 nights and were never offered the same dish twice. Divecenter I have dived all over the globe and can honestly say that this divecenter exceeds all expectations. Very personal and professional service: top notch briefings, enthousiastic and kind guides, helpfulness of all the divepersonel (in house and after dives), decent equipement and so on... A big thank you to all of you @ Oasis, i had an amazing holiday and hope to be back some day!Guest review byHettyBelgium
- From US$151.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 545 reviewsI don’t even know where to start... Everything was AMAZING! This Hotel is just THE PERFECT place to relax and have a lot of fun on the sun. They keep their pride in keeping everything clean and beautiful, and all the people working there are extremely helpful and friendly. They attend to their guests with every need, the freshly prepared food is so delicious with different choices and varieties. Every day there are many activities around the pool such as Zumba, Yoga, Water polo, Aqua gym, Volleyball, Pètangue, Darts, Etc. After the delicious dinner, the Animation Team led by Shaggy, will make sure to keep you entertained and laughing every night with different programs and shows such as The Oriental show, Dance show, Comedy show, Fire shows, Mic show, and many many more. You just feel like you are a part of that Happy Life Family during your stay, so that is why this name is Just perfect for this hotel and I thank you all so much for a wonderful holiday. I will most definitely return again and this time with more friends so they can also experience what it feels like to be living The Happy Life! ;-) MerciGuest review byHanaEgypt
- From US$202.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 484 reviewsHaving travelled extensively in my opinion the hotel offers excellent value for money given the great location , food and setup. What makes a place worth a 10 to me is when you have special requests or issues that the hotel responds well ,Akassia was EXCEPTIONAL in that department. Wael and Hani (in customer relations) went way beyond what you might ever expect to help arrange a special evening for my wife on our anniversary and to respond to some small issues I had with staff responses . These types of managers are rare and set the tone that the more junior staff follow.I would also like to mention Mahmood who oversaw the free snorkelling trip provided a very professional high quality service. Although you do get approached for trips etc the teams respect a simple no thank you which is very different from other experiences in Egypt.Guest review byJanPoland

From the moment we arrived until the day of our departure, every aspect of our stay was meticulously taken care of, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the hotel's General Manager, Samy Bendary, and the dedicated staff members, including Mr. Abdelkader, Mr. Sayed, and Ahmed, the driver of the reception. The beach areas are beautiful, lots of space and privacy, access to the sea is fantastic and the sea itself with its unique marine life is a paradise. The food is excellent, lots of different dishes that we loved, international or local, a really great food experience, breakfast, lunch and dinner were just delicious. Than you very much to all the staff, for the kindness granted to us 24/7 and for making us feel at home. We loved every single aspect of our stay. Everything was outstanding. Simply PERFECT. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to come back for our next stay at the amazing Three Corners Equinox Beach Resort.Guest review byMaria PiaItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 543 reviewsReception accommodating our request and proactively proposing an apartment that fulfilled our wishes; quality of of food and choices and variation are fantastic; easiness to go in the sea and do some basic snorkeling is very worthwhile. Many very friendly staff (contrary to what one sometimes experiences in other places when traveling through Egypt) and to name a few: person at reception and manager of reception; Ahmed, the manager at our breakfast, lunch and dinner is exceptional customer friendly and sensitive to specific needs; also Mohamed Barhoum as well as the staff creating the perfect Danish pastry.Guest review byBorisgingerPoland
- From US$215.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 529 reviewsMr Hassan and his collegues from the reception, and also all the other employees at the resort, are very kind and friendly. Every time I'm there, they truly do their very best, to make my stay the most comfortable as possible. I love the spacious, comfortable and light rooms. It's very clean everywhere. The food is great. Fayrouz has a very nice house reef for snorkeling, and it's great that Marsa Mubarak is only 20 min walk away: this is a bay where there are big sea turtles. I keep coming back, and now my friends are too.Guest review byRianneNetherlands

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.Guest review byLarsSwitzerland - 10
I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...
I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))Guest review byAnnie RuurdsSouth Africa - 10
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.Guest review byMennaEgypt - 4.0
The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.Guest review byRolandSwitzerland - 8.0

"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès.
"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."Guest review byValérie LannoyBelgium - 6.0
I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t...
I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.Guest review bySmile08Czech Republic - 8.0
Some places offer excellent takeaway food.
Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great.
