The stay at Jaz Amara exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, friendly, professional, attentive, always with the smile and make you feel like home. The food in all restaurants was delicious, offering a big variety of dishes for every taste. Room was spacious and super clean, everyday with a sweet decoration.. Facilities were great - pool area, also for kids and the beach everything we needed. It was the perfect place for relaxed vacation.

The hotel itself is a masterpiece of architecture; new, tasteful and modern, and at the same time giving a delightful atmosphere of ancient times. Not to forget the magnificent library! The hotel is located near the sea with perfect conditions for snorkling the coral reaf from a pier at the hotels beach. Pool is pleasant and superclean as the rest of the hotel. The restaurant serves the most delicious egyptian meals. All members of staff are attentive, very helpful and nice. Absolutely no pushing of sales. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Like finding a hidden diamond. Go for the all inclusive.

I booked this hotel for my parents, who are 70+, to spend their first Christmas somewhere warm and stress-free. Since my parents have been in Egypt more than 10 times, they had an idea of what to expect. They came back absolutely amazed that they had never experienced such a hotel in Egypt before and as soon as they get the chance, they want to come back to Amarina Jannah Resort. The people who work here are absolute professionals and make their customers feel the kindness every minute, everything was new and clean, the room was huge, the food was amazing, the pools, beach and sea were breathtaking. I am very happy that I was able to give my parents such a gift for Christmas, and I think that from now on I will want to repeat it every Christmas. I want to thank the Amarina Jannah Resort for such an approach to oldest people who do not speak any world language, and they managed to make the pensioners so happy. I will come to visit you with my wife in a few months, for now I just sending the most beautiful greetings from my parents! Thanks again Amarina Jannah Resort!!!

It's not comfort the strong point (cold water, electricity between 6pm and 11 pm) but it's geographical location between desert and beach far from the noise, constructions and close from the beach ideal for seeing fish and turtles. Snorkeling is easy right off the beach, and there’s even a dive club on-site for the more adventurous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped — ideal for a relaxing stay. The resort features three lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers; no need to rush or reserve. The food is great: the buffet is varied and enjoyable, and the à la carte restaurant rivals a top European brasserie in quality and atmosphere. The staff — from the pool and evening bars to the restaurants — are friendly, helpful, and multilingual.     We are group that was travelling around in Europe before reaching Egypt and Marsa Alam was our first destination in Egypt. Gemma resort set the bar high to our expectations for the rest of the trip and an extraordinary example for Egyptian hospitality. Everything in the hotel was perfect. The rooms spacious and cleans, pools clean and in different locations and beaches were amazing with great snorkeling spots. I can not speak enough about the food, no moment in the day where food is not served and in different cuisines with amazing quality. The most interesting part to me thing is that everyone is assuring you are having good time in your stay and I literally mean EVERYONE. Whether it is Mr Mahmoud, Hazem and Mohamed on the front desk or Atef and Abdo on the pool and the beach or Chef Mohamed Salah in the kitchen, every single one of these gentlemen made sure that our stay was comfortable and did not hesitate to provide the required assistance.

    Our family of six loved our stay at Pickalbatros Sea World Resort. The resort is vast, modern, and very well maintained. The staff is exceptionally kind and accommodating, with a special mention to Mr. Ahmed Elsehemy from the reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautiful, and well-equipped with all the amenities a family needs. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The resort’s pools and water slides were a highlight for our family. The children also had a lot of fun at the VR arcade (included!). There is a wide variety of food options catering to different tastes. We wish we would have stayed longer. We highly recommend it to families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.     It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen.     The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

    Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

    The sea was beautiful.

    The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

    Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

    I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

    We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy.

    We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy. We came with our 3 years old daughter so we really appreciate that they have 3 very warm pools. 2 of them are huge and with a bar in it and the third very warm pool is safe for small kids who can't swim yet. Also Casa Mare has a big playground in the shade for kids. Aleso few hours per day is open Kids club with a really nice girl from the animation team. All of them are doing a very good job. Always trying to cheer you up all day long with animation programs. We came without a traveling agency and we haven't any agent, so  people in recepcion were always helpful and nice. You can easily ask them about everything through WhatsApp. Food was amazing. Chefs are doing a great job. Choice of food was huge and delicious. Casa Mare has a lagoon with shallow clear water, hot in summer  and also bridge to reef. Reef is big and rich in many kinds of fish. You don't need to pay any trips to snorkeling, it's right there. Place is also very good for kite surfing in winter. I was surprised how big our room was and we had a view on the pool and sea. I loved that. We always had the same man for cleaning. Every day he made our room super clean and tidy and when we met him in the hall it was always fun with him. Our daughter loved him, because every day he made for her animals from towels. We are definitely coming back. This place where our 4th hotel in Egypt and Casa Mare Resort was best from tham. Thank you all personal for a wonderful holiday.
