Just driving into the Hotel was an instant pleasure. You just know you are going to really like your stay. Nothing afterwards contradicted it. The facilities and the standard of presentation of them is top class. We wished we had more time to have taken advantage of the Spa, it really was high class and very inviting. Reception were very helpful and explained where we could park and charge our car. Something more Hotels should take note of, a big plus these days. A nice enough restaurant and OK menu. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Bathroom of a very high standard.

We were able to check in early, the room was large, clean, well lit & had the BEST view into Segovia. We were given a window seat at night for dinner. The food was great & the staff helpful. We were given helpful information about parking to get the bus onto the town centre. The grounds are very nice with ample parking.

Leon is a tad touristy but still retains some of Europes most beautiful Archtecture not least of which is the Cathedral of course - built with a population supposedly around 5000 leaves one in awe at what was built … and where the money came from . The modern side will entertain the shopaholics ( you know who you are !) but the cultural bit can be done in a few days with ease . Restaurants cater for all .

We loved the cathedral.

We loved the cathedral. It is one of the most beautiful in Europe. You visit it with an app that you get to keep on your phone. A lasting memory. Everything in the old part of town was easily accessible. You don't need a car to get around. We had a great meal at Casa Pancho & at Los Blasones. The food was delicious. Loved the market place, the monastery (Cartuja de Miraflores), all the statues, especially El Cid. People were friendly. Just a nice place to be.

The hotel is very nice, it is clean and well located.

The hotel is very nice, it is clean and well located. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue was that the air conditioner didn't work properly or was not set up at a cooler temperature. The room was hotter than the outside temperature. If you opened the window to let air go in, then the street noise can be a problem.

Avila is a very historic city with a number of holy sites related to St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, and the ancient martyrs St. Vincent and his sisters. It is a great city to visit if you’re on a pilgrimage or simply interested in history.

Striking scenery from every aspect.

Striking scenery from every aspect. Arriving at the train station was disconcerting, being in the middle of nowhere, but the bus delivers you at the foot of the aqueduct. Amazing. The Cathedral and Alcazar are definitely worth a visit. Just don't expect a coffee before 9am.

The hotel was in a good location although not easy to find and there wasn’t free parking on the site. Not far from the restaurants and near the river with a nice walk. We only stayed overnight enroute on our journey. We have stayed at nh hotels before and find them very comfortable and clean.

I wanted to visit Soria because of the nearby archeological site of Numancia. I had read El Cerco de Numancia by Cervantes as a student and remembered the site. The Museo Numantino in Soria has fascinating artifacts from the archeological site and other locations in the area. Wonderful Roman glass, pottery, jewelry and sculptures. In addition, Soria is a lovely medieval small city well-worth a visit away from more crowded tourist locations such as Barcelona and San Sebastian...

The Gaudi palace was amazing and well worth the visit for that alone. Really enjoyed the 3D immersive experience too which they also had in the Cathedral. Had time to visit the Roman Museum but not the chocolate factory as only had the one night. Ate in the main plaza and as it was a Monday not everything was open but Tuesday morning there was more choice for breakfast. Main sights are all within walking distance
