- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 4,430 reviewsThe hotel is in a great location with a beach (the Mar Menor) at the back of the hotel and the Mediterranean Sea across the road to the front of the hotel so you get both the sunrise and sunset which is absolutely stunning. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful with whatever you need. The facilities are great with entertainment activities and games, even in the off-season. The food is delicious and full of flavour with plenty of choice and differentiation every day. The meats and fish are cooked fresh at the live cooking stations and are great quality meat and fish. This is not the place for you if you like chips and burgers. There was an older crowd when we visited but we didn't mind, everyone was friendly and relaxed. This is a place to visit if you want to relax and have some family time in a great location with a good, clean beach, pool and the option for activities if you want them. The beds are comfy, and the room was just the right size for us. We were on the 7th floor facing the front of the hotel with a view of the beach and Mediterranean sea.Guest review bySamanthaUnited Kingdom
- From US$105.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,156 reviewsIt is well placed by the sea front, with access to the local promenade. The superior rooms are large with the addition of a sofa, and a sea view. The beds are large and comfortable and all the facilities are good. The staff were very helpful and multi lingual. The breakfast is superb with a good selection of hot and cold food. Underground parking was not expensive for Spain, but gave the extra security for the vehicle. It was my birthday, and a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses were put in our room, which was a nice touch.Guest review byJamesFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 279 reviewsGreat food, friendly personnel, everything worked. Not the most modern cabins or the comfiest beds, but included all that we needed and more. The host took really good care of us, even though there was a mixup in the meal package we ordered. They even prepared nice takeaway breakfast bags for us for 2 mornings when we had to hit the road before breakfast time.Guest review byMarkkuFinland

The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I think its a lovely experience with plenty of history to see at very little cost. The city is very clean and has a good relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of small bars and good restaurants to enjoy and the service everywhere we went was good. There is no problem if you dont speak Spanish. There is a large shopping mall close by if you want more choice.Guest review byLyndaSpain - 10.0
A beautiful location.
A beautiful location. This is such a nice place because it is authentically Spanish which is the reason I visit Spain. Lovely tapas and a great variety of Soanisg restaurants. The beach is beautiful and we had some lovely runs along the beachfront. Very peacefulGuest review bySamanthaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It is a fantastic place to visit.
It is a fantastic place to visit. Friendly locals, brilliant restaurants and bars with a range of stunning food. There is the added bonus of a new and old town with something to suit all tastes. Great beaches with lovely sand. Everything is flat and easy to explore on foot. The weather was gorgeous with a nice sea breeze. The prefect place to relax and unwind in the sunshine.Guest review byREBECCAUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing.
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing. So much so that the wife and I are considering investing. Mainly because it is the most inclusive resort I have ever imagined. There are lifeguards with wheelchairs, ramps, crutches, and enthusiasm; to help every one into the sea. Drop kerbs all over. And an openness and acceptance that would make this the ideal place for SEN kids, or adults with disabilities There are plenty of affordable street cafes for tapas and a fry-up, or a curry. There are a good number of good restaurants. And a fair few excellent ones.Guest review byKevinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An excellent holiday location with fast food, Spanish authentic tapas bars.and more expensive restaurants to suit all needs. There are several good quality beaches on both sides of the fishing harbour and all amenities within a small area.Guest review byAlexander ThomsonSpain - 10.0
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem.
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem. My room outstanding , food outstanding . I may have liked a shuttle bus maybe going down to the Centre twice a day. I am 76yrs old and I did walk down and back up and to be honest I didn’t think I could do it But I did and was very proud of myself! Lovely to see the very old villages and the beautiful churches.Guest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 4.0

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!Guest review byRuthSpain - 10.0

Since it was low-season, we could benefit of the overall tranquility, no crowds etc. Still, the town is inhabited, also by year-round foreigners, thus there are quite a few restaurants open to choose from.Guest review byRainoFinland
