- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 649 reviewsOur stay at La Almunia del Valle was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Sierra Nevada’s natural beauty, the hotel offers breathtaking views that nourish the soul and bring a deep sense of peace. The atmosphere is serene and calming — a true escape from the noise of everyday life. What made the experience even more special was the genuine warmth and care of the hotel owner. Every day, she took the time to personally speak with each guest, ensuring their comfort and listening with heartfelt attention. It’s rare to find such thoughtful hospitality. This place is not just a stay — it’s a memory that stays with you.Guest review byHASHEMKuwait
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsVery convenient to visit the Alhambra as the bus to Granada city centre stops right in front of the camping and it runs every 20 mins. The car can be parked outside for free or inside the camping for a fee. The camping is small but nice. The bungalow kitchenette is well equipped, towels and bed lining provided.Guest review byChiaraItaly

We visited and skied in Pradollano during peak season.
We visited and skied in Pradollano during peak season. It was a very enjoyable and interesting experience, although there was not a great deal of snow during our visit we still managed to enjoy our time there during the weekdays. The weekends look particularly busy so if you don’t like a very crowded ski field might be best to avoid the weekends.Guest review bychristineAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful small village with amazing views across the mountains. Plenty of walks and cycling choices, with close connection by car to both Sierra Nevada mountains and Granada city. Good choice of places to eat and drink, plus small grocery shops.Guest review byMoiraUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The most perfect place I have ever stayed!!
The most perfect place I have ever stayed!! I almost don't want to write a review because everyone will want to go! :) This was my second time here, and it has become my sanctuary and my happy place, I plan to return every year if possible. The gourmet breakfast is delicious, with different options available every morning, fresh juices, fresh fruit, and excellent coffee! Dinner is fabulous with excellent service, tasty Michelin level food, beyond expectation! The place itself is perched up on top of the hill very close to a beautiful hiking trail called 'Monachil Los Cahorros' - (anyone can do this trail whether you want to do a shorter or longer route). The hike has hanging bridges, caves, streams, uphill and downhill routes! The most tranquil and beautiful spot you will ever visit, whether its a solo trip like me or with family, friends or a loved one! The most amazing views from the hotel (which is a boutique sustainable hotel) - The bed was an absolute dream, and all the rooms are perfect, with beautiful detail!Guest review byKhalidaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Our first day ( arriving ) to Cenes de la Vega we dined at the hotel and no regrets, very good food and service, good atmosphere and surrounding area, mountains view, private parking and the staff was amazing. We spent our day 2 starting at 10.00 AM, at Alhambra, Generalife, Nasrid Palaces and 5 hours later Cathedral of Granada, must to see. After the Granada tour, we went down to the Cathedral of Granada and the rest of the day in the old centre visiting tapas bars, cafés and dinner before we turned back to our hotel.Guest review bySimbuz1962Iceland - 10.0

If you are looking for a somewhat rustic village, this is for you. Quiet and quaint! The beautiful mountain location is great for hiking and relaxation. The local road to get up to the ski area is an uphill slog of narrow, curves, sometimes a one lane road, hairpin turns. In wet weather it is not a good choice. The apartment is clean, some of the furniture looks old, but it is not described as a luxury stay, so this was expected.Guest review byLisaPortugal - 8.0

Be careful driving through the narrow, winding streets. some of them get narrower as you go and you may have a hard time turning around. The locals are friendly and helpful even if they don't speak English. So are the Police. They arrived quickly and got our car out of a tight alley/street.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 4.0

I only picked La Zubia because it was on my way between Malaga and Valencia. I hade landed the same day after a night flight. Narrow streets are a bit difficult to drive through when you are very tired and sleepy. Maybe the town has something to offer, but I had no chance to do so.Guest review byNabilCanada - 8.0
