The view is spectacular at night as well, with all the mist and fog that rise from the river. The hotel sauna and swimming pool are really great for relaxing after a day of activities in the extremely cold weather. The breakfast is great, with so much local food and variety. As the few local restaurants in Rovaniemi are always difficult to book, a breakfast here can easily compensate for the lack of a table for typical Finnish food.Guest review byKaidiFrance

Staff was amazing and gave us all information we asked for and even gave us advice where to go that isn’t know as much for tourist but is to local people. Breakfast was very nice, with a lot to choose from (even local food like reindeer pate and reindeer sausage). Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected.
