From the piece of nougat for your tea to the sumptuous bedding in the room to the interior design of all the spaces, everything is elegantly thought out. Complimenting their interior design and culinary services is their staff. Efficient, genuine, gracious and accessible, they are uniquely able to personalize their service to meet their client's needs. One time I checked in very late and they went out of their way to get food to me before the kitchen closed. The next time...they recognized me by name and automatically upgraded my room. Amazing.

This is an excellent small hotel, easily accessed from the main road from Perpignan to Quillan. It is super quiet. The meals we had in the restaurant were of super quality and represented excellent value for money. The breakfast too was a superb continental type and very reasonably priced and with no limit on the food, coffee or juices. The room had been very tastefully renovated and the bathroom had a super shower. But most of all we really loved the staff. The owners have done a good job in selecting staff who we found to be super friendly and helpful. The garden area was well furnished and the swimming pool was perfectly clean and well maintained. Definitely this hotel is worth a visit, we loved it !!.

    This beautifully decorated property is entirely elegant with first rate service. the ladies at the front desk Marie and Marion are just so welcoming and warm, they really helped to make us feel so welcome. The furnishings are carefully curated and the Vincent Shepherd chairs really give the place a relaxed resort feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a roomy patio. The Nuxe toiletries are first rate and add a touch of luxury. The restaurant with its excellent sommelier is first rate as well. highly recommended for those seeking a relaxed luxurious environment to spend some time at.

    We stayed in a hotel within the walls and that was lovely (...

    We stayed in a hotel within the walls and that was lovely (Auberge des Lices) and we visited the old town as well as the city. So much to see and do! This was our second visit and we were not disappointed (other than the note below). A slight caveat as one of party was disabled is that the walled City is not particularly disabled friendly. Those who stay in the other lovely hotels are afforded luggage transfer but those less fortunate with mobilty have to struggle waith bags and have to be able to walk quite a few hundred metres to get to a gate other than the main entrance which is the nearest to the Cite car parks. A golf cart type facility would I am sure assist even if there was a charge... Just saying :-)

    Castelaundry is in the heart of Cassoulet country…we had some fabulous meals in local restaurants. It is also a stepping off point for boats on the MIDI canal. You can walk or bicycle along the paths beside the canal and watch the locks operating. Great place to visit and interesting villages nearby.

    Very nice little town, the locals were friendly. It was not overrun with people, the beach being very broad and very well.maintained. we enjoyed that it was sandy and clean. The infrastructure was excellent and we loved the environmental awareness in the area. We visited several local restaurants and enjoyed them all, lots of very good seafood. Narbonne city was very scenic and beautiful, colorful and quaint.

    Small city easy to find your way around.

    Small city easy to find your way around. Bus to the airport is not very frequent and info about same is non existent, taxis are also very hard to aquire and there doesn't seem to be too many available.
