So close to everything, train station and the centre of town. Breakfast is amazing. Best breakfast in over a month travelling, particularly loved the tarts (3 different kinds), the fact it’s organic and the fruit juices.. just everything was super good. Great recommendation for dinner at Le Tigre, just what we wanted not touristy. Hired bikes and cycled out into the countryside along the canals.

    Every thing! We went for a spa weekend with our french bulldog (which sleeps a lot) and everything was perfect. The room was comfortable with enough space to walk around, the bathroom was very warm. This room was a little outdated but very charming. The spa facilities are definitely high standards, 2 different sauna, a hamman, a pool with jacuzzi space, everything is made to relax. The restaurant was also great, food was qualitative and servings a good size. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Special ++ for the delicious easter cake on the door step on the Sunday morning!

    I like the region, the quiet and historic village, the proximity to Strasbourg.     Strasbourg is a fascinating place to visit and very easy to walk around. There are plenty of things to do and great places to eat. The cathedral is simply splendid and just across the square is the Palais Rohan- home to the bishops and kings who visited over a number of centuries- it was very quiet when we visited which made it even more special - with so few people we could actually imagine the history of the place centuries ago. The Batobus is inexpensive and takes you on a wonderful trip along the river past the European Parliament with an English commentary along the way- thoroughly enjoyable and we learned a lot about Strasbourg and its fascinating history!

    Very clean and safe.

    Very clean and safe. Perfect location for a short Elzas discovery trip. Highway to Straatsburg and Colmar/Mulhouse is only 5 mins away. On the other hand it's also a very short drive to get up in the mountains.

    We were pleasantly surprised by our stay, especially for the price. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious enough, with the added convenience of parking and being super close to the tram. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Even though we expected to share a bathroom, we were happy to find a shower in the room, only the toilets were shared.

    Wissembourg is a quaint French Alsatian town just across the German border. In fact, you can hike from Wissembourg across the border into Germany wine-country for lunch (or vice versa). It's an especially good daytrip for folks living in Heidelberg or Mannheim--you can get to Wissembourg on the local German train system.

    Visit the Shopping Promenade at night it's an absolute must. Has been a very nice surprise. We went out for a quick dinner after a day in Strasbourg and we found ourselves enjoying in karting, videogames, bowling and VR experiences for hours.

    The village was lovely and picturesque, we stayed for a family wedding and visited the surrounding villages which were all lovely. The locals were Friendly and the food was delicious. The owner of the property was very helpful, we had a couple of requests such as a kettle and batteries for the remote, which she delivered promptly for us. The Wi-Fi signal was intermittent, although we did manage to use Netflix once or twice. The apartment was very cozy, close to the shops. There was some noise from above during the day but quiet at night. All in all the apartment was cozy, well equipped and had a lovely feel about it, I would recommend it if you are travelling to Alsace, not too far from Strasbourg either.

    It's a wonderful city with the mixture of German and French, old and new. So much to see - museums, gardens, European Parliament, cathedral, all within easy reach using the trams. My family is from Alsace so for me I was returning home to re-discover my ancestry. Of course more visits will be happening. Thank you dear Strasbourg!

    We wanted to visit Strasbourg but didn't want to drive into the city so we chose Selestat with it's easy train link. We didn't expect to love Selestat better. The old town is very compact and easy to walk around. Lovely restaurants and great boulangeries.
