Hotel Leonor exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the location? Perfect! It’s tucked in a lively yet charming area, close to everything you’d want to see and do. Can’t recommend it enough—I’ll definitely be back!

It was the greenest hotel I’ve ever stayed in—almost everything was well-considered for the environment. The staff were all helpful and genial; they even surprised me for my birthday, making my day special as a solo traveler celebrating alone. The breakfast was also great, with plenty of delicious desserts.

Everything about the property is charming. The food is delicious and the family who runs this little hotel are wonderful hosts. We were lucky to secure a last minute booking for three adults and the room was spacious for one night. While the building is very old, the rooms have recently been remodeled and the courtyard restaurant is gorgeous.

The property is in a beautiful setting and has a very nice interior design. Everything is clean and the spa team was very friendly and did a great job. Dinner was also nice and the dining staff were very professional and accommodating. When we arrived late around 9:30pm, the restaurant manager, I believe, let us know that the restaurant is closed but they can whip up a charcuterie plate for the group.

    Loved Petite France and Colmar.

Loved Petite France and Colmar. The cathedral in Strasbourg was spectacular. Saw the illumination show there. Worth the money. Saw many homeless people living on the street and some begging for money. That was very sad to see all around the Kleber Square streets. I would recommend a few days in Strasbourgh. No problem with transportation. We walked everywhere and road the train to Colmar.

Wissembourg is a quaint French Alsatian town just across the German border. In fact, you can hike from Wissembourg across the border into Germany wine-country for lunch (or vice versa). It's an especially good daytrip for folks living in Heidelberg or Mannheim--you can get to Wissembourg on the local German train system.

The village was lovely and picturesque, we stayed for a family wedding and visited the surrounding villages which were all lovely. The locals were Friendly and the food was delicious. The owner of the property was very helpful, we had a couple of requests such as a kettle and batteries for the remote, which she delivered promptly for us. The Wi-Fi signal was intermittent, although we did manage to use Netflix once or twice. The apartment was very cozy, close to the shops. There was some noise from above during the day but quiet at night. All in all the apartment was cozy, well equipped and had a lovely feel about it, I would recommend it if you are travelling to Alsace, not too far from Strasbourg either.
