The staff is friendly and they make sure to look after you. The spa is exceptional. L’Armadin restaurant offers a proper gastronomic experience with local flavours and wines. We liked it so much that has lunch and dinner there during our 2 nights stay at the hotel. We loved the architecture of the hotel and the design. Rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need. The short boat ride to the beach was a pleasant surprise. The Spa is lovely and we enjoyed our couples massage. We are already looking at coming back next year.Guest review byBesianaUnited Kingdom

Lots of wonderful monuments and historical buildings to visit. Transport system excellent once you have got used to it. Clean and comfortable. A multitude of cafes to choose from. A vibrant city with lots of young people but no trouble. A lot of dog waste though unfortunately.Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Carcassonne is a beautiful city with lots of fabulous restaurants and lively bars as well as the historical epicentre inside the castle walls (Citè) itself which was my favourite part! We went as couples but there was alot of families there also both young children with options for them too. Highly recommend the Cassoulet and some local wines 🍷 we would love to return againGuest review bySusanIreland - 10.0

Lovely little gem of a town, lots of medieval history and a good food and drinks scene. People are really friendly and a lot speak a bit of English if your French isn’t very good! It’s a very walkable town as well, and I recommend the little train tour to give you some history and context for the place.Guest review byCarolineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

First visit. Easy journey by train from Carcassonne. Everything seems to be in walking distance , mainly on the flat. Great historical value, exceptionally well presented. Used the littletourist train. Ate at / can recommend, l'Accent, the top of Norman Fosters 'place', our name and La Piazzetta nr the Cathedral PS You have made an assumption re 'young couple'.Guest review byRichardFrance - 10.0

We were touring around by train so did not stay long. Narbonne is a small but interesting city. A good base to visit other places. We went to Carcassonne and planned to go to the coast but there was a strike so as we didn’t have a car we explored Narbonne instead.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's a lovely town, well situated to visit other cities in the area. I found Béziers a great base. There's a lot of construction work going on around the railway station so it's not simple to navigate if mobility is an issue.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. Set between the coast and a massive lake it's idyllic. The shops, market, cafe's and restaurants are excellent - so much choice. There's also a lot events going on here - shows, concerts and festivals. We hired a boat to explore the water ways which was excellent fun. We had a superb 8 day stay and would highly recommend it.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cap d‘Agde is very nice destination with plenty of yacht ports and a few different beaches nearby. You can find there both restaurants, shops and disco clubs. Many small apartments with some with swimming pools. Big Aquapark and paid swimming pool are also in the area. There are buses to Agde and Gare where you can change to another bus to the airport but they do not go very often. Generally I do recommend.Guest review byOlgaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

La Grand Motte is pleasant and has numerous bars and cafes. The beach area is clean and looked after. It's not the most sophisticated seaside town but it's probably got something for most people.Guest review byLenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It is a nice town with a beautiful beach.
It is a nice town with a beautiful beach. It has a very relaxing and positive feel to it. Most of the tourists are French families. I found locals to be welcoming. We really enjoyed taking the tour train around the area and had fun. Be sure to visit the beautiful town centre. There are many charming little shops and vibrant outdoor markets.Guest review byJung-EunIreland
