Perfectly situated next to Pont Valentré, it’s delightful to breakfast outside, watching the river and listening to the birdsong, and the breakfast is excellent too- hot and cold buffet, with very good choice. Easy to walk into the centre for restaurants but there are some close by. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

Everything about the property was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very good, including a very comfortable bed. The food in the Informel restaurant was of a very high standard with wine at sensible prices. The breakfast was also very good. The grounds are beautiful and very well tended. Exceptional dining in charming surroundings. Several generations of the same family have run this well established hotel. Such a good location : within easy reach of nearby Cahors ( wine, shops, historic buildings) and interesting trips both East or West along the river valleys. The scenery is stunning! The pretty village of Vers is itself worth exploration. The entire staff team are friendly and welcoming. There is an outdoor pool and a lovely terrace - so a summer visit here would be fun. Also a spa - all these facilities are available for guests - we have yet to enjoy them!

In the hot weather the pool was perfect an the room had a fan whih worked well for a good night's sleep. The area around the hotel was God's own country. So beautiful and we felt priveleged to have been told about it as a must see by others. The boat trip from the jetty showed us even more beauty along the river. Going up to St Cirque la poppie is an easy drive and provides an excellent view of the whole region and a pretty small village to enjoy.

The hotel is amazing, it has a very nice view of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. In spring or summer might be even better , however we really enjoy the day. we were there with our baby of 1,3 yo, we stayed in an apartment and it’s perfect for a family. The only thing (not bad , just we are with a baby) is that to go to the city you cannot go by walking, is quite far and with ups and downs . Amazing ! Super happy 😊

Where we stayed was a restored castle. It was wonderful inside. The staff were very helpful. The part of town we stayed in was quaint and very walkable. I would have loved to stay longer. We ate at a small Crepery that was right around the corner. You have to be there early and make reservations. We did it online and almost didn't get in. The food was good.

We visited Gramat in the spring and the weather was dull. The town appeared run down in areas with not much going for it. There were some good restaurants. The animal park is worth a visit. The aqua park didn’t have clear information about opening times. Close enough for other attractions and towns to visit. Rocamadour is close by. Plage de Gluges 15/20 minutes. Cahors is a nice little city.

Cahors is a nice little city. There isn't much spectacular to see or do, but it kept me busy for a day. The medieval bridge is nice, the cathedral was worth a visit, and it's nice to walk next to the river that encircles the city. Keep in mind, on Sundays, nearly everything is closed. Even finding a restaurant for dinner was a struggle. I wonder if the locals even eat on a Sunday...
