Incredible modern and elegant architecture, a veritable feast for the eyes. The hotel is situated among Champagne´s vineyards, impossible to ask for a better place. The restaurant is fabulous, breakfast was totally amazing. We didn´t get to use the pool, but wish we had, such a beautiful beautiful place.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the impeccable hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel as though we had stepped into an episode of Downton Abbey. The champagne was exquisite, perfectly complementing the enchanting ambiance of the château. Both dining experiences exceeded our expectations. L’Orangerie provided a Michelin-star-worthy dinner that was a true culinary masterpiece, while the other restaurant offered equally remarkable cuisine with refined flavors and presentation. Breakfast was an experience in itself—abundant, fresh, and absolutely worth it. It provided the perfect start to our day, ensuring we were well-prepared for exploring the beautiful Champagne region.     The hotel is suitably located and you can reach town (Épernay, Reims, Champillion) & the vineyards easily & quickly by car. We used a rented a car and there was ample (free) parking. The hotel is beautiful decorated, neat & exceptionally clean. Everything was provided for in our room. The hotel runs more as self service, with no staff after 8pm. This did not have a negative for our stay. Everything was communicated clearly, including how to access our room for late check in. Value for money (one of the more affordable hotels we’ve stayed at).

    The hotel is by the TGV station with great bus (and train) connections to Paris (or Disneyland), which is why we stayed here. You get downtown within 20 minutes by tram, the tram stop is directly in front of the hotel. Parking is available for free.

    Because we had a car we used Reims as a base and alternated between trips into the surrounding area and days sightseeing in Reims. If we hadn't been doing that, then 2 full days in Reims would probably be enough. Although some museums are closed on certain days so it is worth making sure your days suit your itinerary for the major sites. The museum of Surrender was closed which was disappointing.

    Easy to get to Epernay by train from Gare de L'Est in Paris. Good choice of champagne houses to walk to, without need for a car, but you need to book your visits. Helpful tourist board. Le Sardaignes restaurant, good choice of food.

    Pleasant interesting town at which we had not previously stayed. The city centre has a calm atmosphere of its own. We did a tour of the Joseph Perrier Champagne house which was impressive. Vincent was a friendly and informative host.

    If you want to visit the cathedral of Notre Dame( which is beautiful) you need to check times and festival dates. It certainly is worth visiting. Our hotel was a 10 min drive in but plenty of paid parking on roads. The cathedral city has beautiful parks and lovely restaurants which come alive at night. A good city break for two nights.

    It is a quiet village but has a large number of small champagne houses offering tasting opportunities. It does not have a large selection of restaurants but does have a great delicatessen offering sharing platters and great wine. You can easily walk to Épernay and there is a train service to Reims. So a great location to explore the champagne region

    Great location close to Epernay but set in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was good, very big comfy bed and clean. The downside was that the step coming out of the shower was badly damaged and actually dangerous.

    Small french Town with lots of history about champagne. Well manicured with gorgeous hanging baskets and a well guided walk through and around town that takes a leasurly hour. Sit and relax with the worlds best champagne in a restaurant or if you book in advance walk a very short distance to visit the best champagne houses for tasting. A great experience in itself!

    An important city since Roman times, Reims has been the site of many historic events. It was the place where for 1000 years French kings were annointed, world wars were fought, and the WWII surrender was signed. Significantly damaged in WWI, it has been rebuilt, but lost a lot of its character. The city is still beautiful, but not as evocative as it must have been. The iconic cathedral in the city centre, and the basilica in its south (along with the adjacent St Remi museum) are definitely worth visiting, as are the local champagne caves. There are many operators offering day trips to visit nearby champagne houses, so do consider including a tour or two in your itinerary.
