I had a truly fantastic stay at this hotel in France. Everything was perfect – from the comfortable and clean rooms to the peaceful atmosphere. What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality of the owner. They were extremely helpful and supportive throughout my stay, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I truly felt welcomed and cared for. 3 nights was too short stay, Was at fairs for one, 2 days for exploring with Subway / Bolt. I would advice Using combination of subway + Hop On Hop Off for 3 days. The apartment is clean, well equipped and convenient for Metro Line 3, a large supermarket and local bistros. There is also a scattering of take away vans near the station that look well used by the locals. One in particular - based around a London bus - appears to have a large screen where many gather to watch football (soccer). We used this as a base for exploring Paris, rather than visiting Bagnolet, but could see plenty of places in the area where we would have liked to spend time had we not been trying to cram so much of central Paris into our stay. Père Lachaise cemetery is only 3 stops away, for those who would like to pay their respects to the likes of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Edith Piav. Metro Line 3 offers a convenient gateway to Paris, as well as an easy route to Gare du Nord and the Eurostar, or train link to CDG. Gare du Nord has a luggage drop facility that allows you to leave your bags to let you squeeze every last moment of your final hours in this amazing city, unencumbered by luggage.Guest review byAntheaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It was relatively easy to get to the city from this hotel, so we were happy with it. The metro was only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The area wasn't the best, but we didn't stay there during the day. Good public transport network to Central Paris. The area outside the campus grounds is rundown and seems to be quite an impoverished area. There are a number of homeless people around the area who keep to themselves and were not actively seeking out people passing through. Only 15 minutes from CDG airport, 40 from Paris by RER. Southwest of the train tracks is a tree-lined high street, with shops including a butcher, fruit/vegetable store, and traiteur. There are also a Monoprix and Picard stores. Restaurants include French food (very good creperie) and ethnic food. We encountered a Thursday morning flea market. It's a very green and beautiful place, very close to nature with lots of fresh air. Your walking in the area and even looking out from your window, you will find singing birds, rabbits running around, multiple kind of plants, trees and flowers giving your heart and soul a refreshing, pleasant and joyful feel. Quite and calm area as no much traffic. I like all the area and this is the best place if you want to relax and to be away from city life. It's all connected with all kinds of transports.
