Absolutely not single complaint at all! The staff is out of this world professional and kind. We are on a 28 day trip, and these people have been by far the best. The food was great with sizable portions. If at all possible, we will return. Places that we have stayed before have given us a cold “no” or firm time for food service. As traveling in foreign country, we may have misjudged our time or just gotten lost from bad directions or badly marked driveway entrances: not the case here. After arriving a little later than expected and extremely hungry, the staff without us asking, without even mentioning a word to them, held the kitchen open for us to get a full hot meal. Where we are from that is called “Southern Hospitality.” Out of 19 countries visited, I give this place one of my highest and most sincere recommendations.

Room was a good size, clean, cosy and modern. The shower is convenient in the morning but there was also a bath which is great for a nice soak in the evening. I had both an evening meal and breakfast at the pub and both were excellent. I'm working away from home in Chepstow so also very convenient as avoids any possible disruption from bridge closures.

Standing high above the Wye River, the Royal Hotel has fine river and countryside views. It offers traditional cuisine, free on-site parking and bedrooms with free Wi-Fi.

A beautiful hotel with fantastic old world decor, high ceilings and sumptuous furnishings. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The staff were wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel.

The manor was renovated in 2023 and has two golf courses, a fitness club, a spa, superb meeting facilities, and two on-site restaurants.

Staff all friendly and happy. Massage was lovely (pay extra for it). Pool , jacuzzi steam and sauna area all good and spacious. Plenty of room for getting changed and showered etc . Nice shower gels , also towels if required. Plenty choice for breakfast, nice food . Fair choice of ales etc. Nice room overlooking the lake

Everything was perfect! The bed was comfy, pillows comfy. Charming room with vintage luxury feel. Clean and updated shower. INCREDIBLE water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was freshly made and quality food. Very impressed!

Littledean House is located in the Forest of Dean, a 4-minute drive from Cinderford. It is a family-run hotel in a picturesque Gloucestershire location.
