- From US$207.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 491 reviewsFrom Start to finish all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. There was no snobbery shown. The bedrooms were spotless, the breakfast was so good, fresh hot, and very tasty. The ground are absolutely beautiful, and the gardeners were friendly. Absolutely loved the place. My brother in law passed away to pancreatic cancer in Sussex, and I had been in Brighton for 4 days. I came up to ware as one of my dearest friends Ann had passed away to cancer leaving her husband, son, and daughter behind. She got to see her children Marry but didn't get to meet her 2 granddaughter as both her kids were expecting their first child. It was heartbreaking, but Fanhams Hall gave me the space and kindness I needed to stay strong and grieve in my own time. Thank you all so much Kind regards Sarah EllisGuest review bySarah Jane ElisIreland

I know Stevenage of old and have been in the area many times over the years. Excellent facilities and very well sign-posted as to where you need to be. The night life is also very good. The Old Town is a wonder and worth a visit. I travel just over an hour to be in Stevenage and make the most of it.Guest review byVivienne - 8.0

On our first day we arrived early and headed into London for...
On our first day we arrived early and headed into London for the City Sightseeing Hop on Hop Off experience, it was brilliant! The train station is a 2 mins walk from the Holiday Inn where we stay, and departs regularly for London. On our second day, we went to Harry Potter Studios, availing of the free bus from Watford Train Station - get there early, as the queues can be quite lengthy. We treated ourselves to Afternoon Tea at the studios, my daughters was served in a little suitcase, I think she was more excited about the experience than the food, but she loved both! I’m a coeliac, and have to say, the attention to detail in what I received was incredible - beautifully themed at every stage of the afternoon tea experience. We decided to spend our third day exploring Watford and its surroundings - only to discover we would need a car to really explore the local attractions. But the town of Watford did not disappoint. The shopping centre offers something for everyone, great selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, activities for all of the family. Watford definitely did not disappoint with its food choices, a personal favourite was the Lounge Cafe - super cool places, delicious food, professional and friendly staff, great atmosphere! So nice, we returned twice in one day, and it was consistent with every visit! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay to visit Harry Potter Studios, the Holiday Inn is excellent. But, treat yourself to an extra night or two and explore Watford or take a trip into London, you’ll be glad that you did.Guest review byHelena O’BrienIreland
