- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 175 reviewsEverything. All was absolutely perfect. The most beautiful place we have been at. The cabins were fabulous, the communication with Scott was fantastic and he was there both of the mornings we were in the ecogampling, so, we could meet him and his absolutely lovely son! We had the three cabins as we where 6, and we all agreed that it was the more beautiful and peaceful place we have been at. It was amazing place to disconnect from the rush of life (works, emails, phones etc) and spend time in family as we all are living in different parts of the world. We will definitive will come back; from my partner and my part, we are already planning a new trip to Skye for next year, spending more time, and definitive we will book this cabins. Absolutely in love with the gampling, Skye and every single person we met. As we wrote in the book, if we have to grade this stay it would be 20/10, cause it was much more than perfect.Guest review byUxiaFinland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 945 reviewsI had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in front of the pier, offering a breathtaking view. My room seemed to have been recently renovated, with a modern and excellent bathroom. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of food. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it!Guest review byMarianaPortugal
- From US$363.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 425 reviewsThe staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London. Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family. I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.Guest review byGeorgeIndia

The team are superb, and the rooms are utterly cosy and spacious (I even had my own cloakroom!) with a massive comfy bed. Every breakfast was a feast, accompanied by the lovely banter from the team. Will definitely come again in spring.Guest review byMarla ZingerRussia

But had such a great time. Excellent dinner, very good service. Lovely room with a great view. Go out on the terrace to take pictures of Tobermory. It doesn't get any better.Guest review byElisabethAustria

Skye is beautiful but expensive.
Skye is beautiful but expensive. Lodging is hard to find, expensive. Restaurants are crowded. The weather is..the weather. We hit lots of rain. People told us unusually bad for September. But so much to see there.Guest review byRogerUnited States - 8.0

Broadford is well located to travel across all Skye, but also not too far from the bridge of Skye to reach back to mainland. It has a supermarket and some restaurants. A walk on the shore is beautiful.Guest review bySimoneSwitzerland - 10.0
Beautiful, quiet place with happy people.
Beautiful, quiet place with happy people. The restaurants are very good as well. Be prepared for hills, though, unless your accommodation is on the main street. My daughter and I had really good walks there. There were all sorts of ages visiting.Guest review byClaudineMalta - 10.0
Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather.
Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather. If planning to eat out of an evening this would be best booked in advance as there was only one pub serving food near the ferry terminal and they stopped serving at 8pm.Guest review byShaunaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Port Ellen is perfect for whisky lovers.
Port Ellen is perfect for whisky lovers. There are many great distilleries in walking distance (Port Ellen, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and soon another one) and many more by bus or taxi (but taxis are sometimes hard to get and there is no Uber available).Guest review bySilvioSwitzerland - 10.0

Dunvegan was quite central to travelling across Skye for our various planned activities - whisky tour, puffin tour, walking Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Old Man of Storr. The two shops had enough for the grocery essentials and there were several cafes and restaurants to provide choice. The castle was interesting though a bit pricey.Guest review bySuzieAustralia - 10.0

Sconser is quite small but it is central to most of Skye and the Raasay ferry is on your doorstep (lovely walking at the north of the island and up Dun Can, lots of eagles, Brochel Castle, a distillery). The village is set back on a road parallel to the main road and houses look forward to the sea and Raasay and backwards to the mountain Glamaig (great views both ways). The Sconser Lodge Hotel has a cosy bar with open fireplace. Their restaurant is open to non-residents when they can cope with numbers so nip in and chat about available dates well in advance.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0

All aspects were exceptional. Property is gorgeous. Staff amazing! Rabbits and sheep were a welcome bonus. We had planned to go to Skye, but ended up staying both days on the island! 10/10 is too low a rating!!!!Guest review byBryanCanada - 10.0

A trip here needs time to enjoy the environment around and at the hotel. It is not very near a large town but a village is not far away. But that also makes it special. Make sure to get there during daylight as the roads leading to the hotel are not highways. The food was delicious and well proportioned. We wanted to stay there for longer.Guest review byRandyAustralia
