- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 337 reviewsLocated in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery and flowers, the Ormidale hotel seems to be torn from a story... a beautiful story! The fresh and abundant green of nature, the silence interrupted only by birds chirping through the leaves, the menus presented on vinyl records from another era, the cheerfulness you meet at every step, the tweed in the room you walk on like forest moss... all these and many more make you glad you chose Ormidale Hotel. And we really were!!Guest review byVasileRomania
- From US$254.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 866 reviewsThe staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. The receptionist (?Holly) was lovely when we arrived. She even sorted our last minute dinner reservation which was very welcomed after a day of travelling. The hotel is beautiful with stunning gardens and surrounded by excellent scenery. Rooms are huge & comfortable with good showers. The restaurant food was lovely and the breakfast excellent. I would happily stay again.Guest review byNicoleIreland
- From US$193.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 140 reviewsThe hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.Guest review byAxelleFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 350 reviewsThe guest house is only 10 min walk from the ferry terminal, and close to a number of shops and restaurants. Allan was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was comfortable with everything you need. The breakfast was really fantastic. Will choose stay here if I visit Arran again.Guest review byYingSingapore

Charming village on a beautiful bay, with views of the tallest peak on the island. Many interesting little shops, a terrific bakery, and a pub. But too few places are open to eat in the evenings. Easy to shop for groceries for self-catering.Guest review byEugeneUnited States - 8.0

Lamlash is an excellent centre for touring round Arran with its fantastic and varied scenery. Easy access to mountains, beaches and all the facilities one needs to make a great holiday. And only a relatively short drive from the ferry port of Brodick.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Whiting Bay was the perfect location for us for touring . We loved the peace and quiet and it was nice to just walk from our accommodation to Glenashdale Falls . The sea was so clear and safe for swimming .Guest review byDianeIreland - 8.0

We were doing the Arran coastal way and the first 3 nights we stayed here. Buses were easy to get (if times a little limited on a Sunday) so we made it back in time each afternoon. Deer roam the village (don't feed them - if they get too tame they need to be culled) and there are seals in the bay. The walks in the area are good.Guest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very small place but there is a hotel and presumably a bar too. Wee roll shop which does great breakfast rolls and sandwiches. Fabulous bakers too. We were on Arran to swim so didn’t use much of the facilities in BWF other than the beach.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful and peaceful.
Beautiful and peaceful. We traveled by car which made it easiest to go where we wanted but I hear the bus service is good. Arran has a whole variety of activities- hiking, history, distilleries, incredible food, access to abundant nature and wildlife, and a great pub scene. I bought most of my take home gifts here.Guest review byCampbellUnited States - 10.0

Brodick is a nice little place on the beautiful island of Arran and is well worth a visit for a day trip, a weekend or longer. Arran in general is a great place for a short or long trip to get away from things on the mainland for a bit. just watch out for the midges in the evening.Guest review byalexmiddUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great eating out at the Drift Inn, and other good food places available! Also a v good Coop for packed lunch material. Beautiful shoreline with the most amazing seals balanced on their individual boulders!Guest review byCatherineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Short drive from ferry which was great.
Short drive from ferry which was great. We arrived about 7.30pm and an envelope with name and code for room was waiting on us. Very well organised. Room 1 was great with lovely views and a lovely sofa to chill on. Place was spotless and a comfy bed. No need to close curtains which was lovely as the sun shone on next morning. Breakfast cooked to perfection which you order night before. Loads of places to see and only a short drive. Definitely recommend this place. 👌Guest review bySpence
