I came with a group of friends for the 40s event in Lytham St Annes. The Lea Gate was a perfect location for this. We also visited Blackpool tower which was also easy to get to from the Lea Gate. Bus service excellent.Guest review bysteel - 10.0
Great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants & bars.
Great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants & bars. We had two evenings meals at the Trevino Lounge. The first outside & the second indoors. The Thai curry was great, as was the Tapas & being a coeliac, I was impressed to be given the most extensive gluten free menu to date. The GF warm chocolate brownie & ice cream was delicious. They also had a twin cocktail offer. We caught the bus into St Annes square on Saturday & did some shopping & had a coffee & cake break, before getting the bus back to Lytham. We only had a couple of minutes wait for the bus, on both journeys. The morning we departed, we had a lovely cooked breakfast at restaurant called Zest.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

There seems to be a lot going on in Lancaster ie a Jazz Festuival and Films to watch at the Duke's Theatre. A Really a nice break for me as I am a film and music buff. This was my 2nd stay over this Summer and Autumn at the University this and once again the Bus Service was good and this helped me get about. I would recommend a meal at The Pendel Witch Pub very reasonable cost and helpful staff.Guest review byLewisUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Morecambe is a place that is suffering decline over several decades. The council have obviously spent a lot of money in the immediate seafront promenade. Particularly the tribute statue to Eric Morcambe. But the rest of the seafront frontage was is terrible. A lot of boarded up shops that don’t look as if they have been open in decades. The side streets of the main road were even worse. A very depressing area. The only decent place we found was The Station, which was a very attractive place. It was in complete contrast to the surrounding area. I won’t be returning to Morcambe..Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very pleasant pine lake resort. Everything spotless. Good restaurant with varied menu. Very relaxing. Really appreciated that there were no dogs on site. Didn't visit Carnforth but went to Arneside which is a lovely village including a great fish and chip shop. Ideal for visiting south lakes.Guest review byDoreenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Just ask more questions before using their other facilities so you have all information in hand. Reception should share more information on arrival. They have a good pool for people who love swimming and sauna. I enjoyed it very much.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
