Fabulous coffee we loved so much, we didn't have coffee anywhere else. The room was gorgeous, and larger than a London apartment. The room has radiant heating, with heat coming from the floors. Gorgeous finishes, sparkling clean and new. The kitchen was SO well stocked we could enjoy my birthday champagne in proper champagne glasses. Included also was a fridge, kettle, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. There was a white noise machine by the bed, and a yoga mat in the room. There was also loads of storage for tucking away our belongings. The living area was separated from the bed area. Comfortable beds and excellent hot shower. Cozy bar/lounge area open 24 hrs. Breakfast served from 4:00, good hot breakfast at 6:30. Restaurant open until 21:30 (didn't eat there so can't comment about quality). Very close to airport with shuttle service for a small fee. The harbour is charming, and seeing the difference between high and low tide is remarkable. There is a lot of traffic on the high street but the shops are charming and mostly seem to be independent. While I found the room itself comfortable and well-presented, unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by a series of distressing events. During the night, there were repeated electricity outages which triggered alarms multiple times. This culminated in the arrival of firefighters at my room—an unexpected and unsettling experience. To add to the concern, there was no staff present at the reception during this time, which left me feeling quite unsafe and unsupported. To date, I have not received any form of apology, explanation, or gesture of goodwill from your team. North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. Lovely quiet resort close to amenities with an excellent bus service. Went into Edinburgh every day and saw lots of sites such as the castle / dungeons/ Mary Kings close/ Obscura observatory and a witchy museum. We ate on site or in Edinburgh.
