United KingdomWe stayed here for 3 nights over Easter with breakfast and evening meal. Food was amazing. Our room overlooked the Moyola river which was beautiful. We would like to thank Ciaran and his staff for the hospitality shown to us during our stay and also for the attention given to our little dog. We would highly recommend The Inn at Castledawson and hope to visit again soon.

Noreen and Jean-Paul are exceptionally lovely people. We were so happy to have met them! We shared a few hours together socializing after visits to the area. They will both ensure that your every need is well looked after and that you are completely happy with your stay.
Noreen is a wonderful cook and every breakfast was absolutely delicious (by far the best we have EVER had at any B&B, rivals the best restaurants!).
This country home is beautifully appointed. Lots of natural light and open spaces. The bedrooms are spacious and bright and have the best king size beds - better than any hotel or B&B. Very high quality linens and duvets. The breakfast room is also open and airy and feature's Noreen's beautiful paintings. Bathrooms are spotless with soft and comfy towels and washcloths.
The surrounding area is so beautiful. Green everywhere.
We always had suggestions on where to go for sightseeing, dinner, tours, etc. Noreen and J-P will help you with all of your questions as they are very experienced travellers themselves.
I have travelled extensively for work for the last 30 years of my life. I have stayed in hotels and accommodations world wide. This place has a very special place in my heart. These wonderful people have made their home a place of warmth, comfort, hospitality, conversation, wonderful meals and laughter.
We were tearing up when we had to leave and say our good-byes... Yes, this place will do that to you.
Just stay here. You will always remember your time with Noreen and J-P at The Vandees.

This is a really nice place to stay. The apartments have been converted well, all was very clean. It is right in the middle of nice countryside.
The host even left us some tea,coffee, milk, orange juice, cereal and pancakes which was a nice touch as shops are far away.
Definitely would stay again.

nice area, great local bars. the people of Antrim were fantastic. Maddensbar, food exceptional for pub grub, atmosphere great and service faultless.
we hired a car, but everything i needed, petrol, food superstore, takeaway, restaurants were all less than 5 mins in the car. so much to offer.

We were surprised how big the hotel was as we have stayed at Double Trees before and they were small.
Good value for a 4 Star hotel and staff were very attentive

Crumlin is a small village not too far from Belfast near the beautiful lake. The lake area is a great attraction and offers lots for people in general but also for families with children. Great playgrounds and nature around.
In Crumlin we have been to the 3 Amigos Deli. Brilliant people. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they made us delicious burritos with no problem. And we were not rushed at all, very friendly and good taste of the food.

A delightful town.
A delightful town. No traditional restaurants though - just fast good eating places. Similar in Antrim, though some are available a little further away. Well placed fairly central in Northern Ireland, so possible to visit in all directions. Belfast easily accessible.

I was there for work, lots of up to date shopping area and cinema.
I stayed outside the town in Moira which is lovely and also visited Hillsborough which is especially beautiful as there is a stunning woodland and lake that is free to visit.

We went to Bellaghy to attend a John Cooper Clarke recital in the Seamus Heaney Home Place. There was an excellent pub there called the Tap House where we had a gorgeous meal at a reasonable price. Bellaghy is compact so shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Also a beautiful Board Walk to Church Island, about 5 minutes by car from the village.

Antrim is nice and lovely for a get away holiday from the hussle and bustles of city life. The town has lots of trees and town centre have most of the regular stores like Lidl, Asda, SPAR. for easy shopping. Accessing Belfast city centre from Antrim is quite easy and the roads are traffic free.

Could not fault the Lodge, if travelling by bus out to accommodation make sure it’s the Europa Airport Bus from the appropriate bus station, and ask bus driver to stop right at the door of Lodge. If travelling by car or taxi there is no problem.
