Located in the south of England, the New Forest is the place where William the Conqueror used to hunt. Today, this beautiful woodland area with the footpaths has interesting flora and fauna.

The hotel was excellent, everything was brilliant and the staff were great. Brockenhurst is a lovely village, and the wondering horses are a delight. It's a very picturesque place. I'm sure it must get very busy in summer months. I should have taken better waterproof footwear. Beautiful and relaxing so much history to explore and a must see the wild ponies pigs and deers along with other roaming wild life It’s definitely a places to go and has easy routes to other areas which are also worth visiting. We were disappointed that the pier ferry wasn't working but the pier and the train were very interesting - lots of plaques on the pier with interesting information and lots of inscriptions on the planks on the pier. The town was very nice - a surprising number of different shops in such a small area. The town centre and pier within very easy walking distance from the Boathouse hotel. The village i itself is very clean and pretty with lots of lovely places for coffee etc. All the people I met wee extremely friendly and helpful. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome. It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here!
