LithuaniaAbsolutely the best experience we had! Room was middle size, everything was clean, lamps had usb slots, room had coffee machine and a kettle with instructions how to use. It was a great stay, every effort was taken to make the stay comfortable and pleasant, and even a doggy had some cuddles and attention :)

Excellent facility in a lovely village. Ambience and food good, staff very pleasant. The location of our accommodation meant we were able to visit several places in Rutland - as well as just on the outskirts - including Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham (and Melton Mowbray on our return home!) Uppingham itself is a small market type town with some interesting independent shops and pubs. The Old Pheasant is very typical of a coach inn, with very modern fixture and fittings. The food (dinner) was excellent and the continental breakfast was very good. The staff were very tentative and extremely useful and helpful, nothing phased them out and nothing was a problem for them.
