- From US$231.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 487 reviewsI love how within nature we felt within the trees birds singing chickens next door clucking. There is alpacas across the road and we saw two large what we think are maybe buzzards. Also watching the lambs jumping around in the dirt in the fields was a lovely thing to watch. At night we could hear the owls and the outdoor pods outside the pub lit up different colours and the tree climbing frame it looked very magical. I love how spacious the cabin is and how lovely and warm it is throughout. The open plan living room, dining room and kitchen area was nice loved the layout. Decent size tv I was able to log into my streaming services on so we could watch movies while relaxing on the comfy sofas. The bedrooms were perfect for what we wanted the double room is massive and nicely set out. The bunk bed room was perfect for my son. The tea, coffee, milk, sugar, toilet rolls and other bits that are available were very helpful. The jacuzzi was just amazing… my first time in one and I was not disappointed… my son loved it too. The large parasol above was very helpful for me due to it raining but my son loves the mix of the cold rain and the jacuzzi. The balcony was very helpful for his massive telescope. We will definitely be back loved our stay for my sons 16th birthdayGuest review byJoannaUnited Kingdom

Spotless clean. Very friendly. Children very welcome. Nice and quiet too. Good distance for Alton Towers (with a car.) Breakfast was lovely. David and Rebecca are great and are very welcoming. Having the bar on site was a great bonus after a busy day at Alton Towers. There was a quiz night on one of the nights and the locals were all lovely. Close to Uttoxeter and easy to access the local taxi company with lovely staff.Guest review byavrilIreland

Noisy, band playing from 9pm and it sounded like it was in my room - only thing the staff could say was “Were there no ear plugs in your room? Oh I’ll speak to housekeeping” - so they knew this was a noisy room! I booked the room to have an early night before a long journey the next day - big mistake!Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Booking.com does not have correct info about checkin after 6pm, it is possible via lock box though booking.com says no check in after 6pm. The surrounding does not seem safe on a weekend after 6pm to a new comer, no barriers for parking etc. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Restaurant staff is helpful but Restaurant looks tired and oldGuest review bySUIndia - 10.0

We went to Uttoxeter to go to the horse racing which was excellent. Unfortunately the town has suffered from a decline in its shops etc as have so many english market towns. Still remnants of the old history though.Guest review byRAYMONDUnited Kingdom
