- From US$293.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,974 reviewsLoved the breakfast room, full of light and beautiful views over the Gorge in the morning. The staff were friendly, but professional, and breakfast was good. The interior of the hotel is designed well, dramatic colour schemes which really work, but at same time it’s comfortable too. Particularly enjoyed the bar area with its stunning views over the Gorge at night. The bedrooms were very simple, but tastefully furnished, classic/modern design bathroom with some period pieces in the bedroom, a nice nod to the history of the building.Guest review byAnna MariaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 122 reviewsWe were expecting great facilities and comfort, from the photos and reviews, but they really don’t show how amazing this place is! The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable. Decorated and furnished to such a high standard, with everything you could possibly need and set in such a picturesque location. The hot tub was amazing!Guest review byMariaUnited Kingdom

I was there for work but it's a lovely city.
I was there for work but it's a lovely city. I did find the homeless people unnerving. I normally study in London so I am sadly used to homeless people on the streets but somehow the Bristol ones were more threatening. I particularly enjoyed visiting a wild swimming site and a local National Trust propertyGuest review bykATEUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!Guest review byJudyIreland - 8.0
Lots to do and see for such a small place.
Lots to do and see for such a small place. Great for walking (as long as you don't mind hills) and the castle is spectacular and well worth a visit. Some excellent real ale pubs and plenty of good cafes too.Guest review byKayUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Outstanding friendly, helpful staff. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Lovely room prior to us going to the airport. Highly recommended. We left our car there for the week. Caught a taxi to the airport. ThankyouGuest review byheatherUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.Guest review byPhillips - 8.0

Having a Marinaview while I worked at my desk, being near to the marina for pleasant strolls, having a Waitrose and Nice eateries nearby, being able to open the window, even a little, during warm weather. Appreciated having a fan. I would certainly consider coming again.Guest review byBeverleyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. We spent the day at a wedding held at Tortworth Court which was absolutely excellent for facilities, gardens, views and services. Very beautiful!Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away...
Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 6.0

You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.Guest review byNatalie - 8.0
