We spent a long weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Stratford Manor Hotel, a well positioned hotel for our weekend, clean, comfortable and with excellent staff and food. We visited the various Shakespeare sights in town, having booked online in advance and spread them out across two days. We found ample parking and good restaurants in Bell Court. The weekend was interesting and most enjoyable, and a visit to the townhall, where we were greeted by the Mayor, was an unexpected bonus.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Warwick Castle was excellent if a little expensive to visit.
Warwick Castle was excellent if a little expensive to visit. There were several tour guides scheduled which you could simply join at no extra cost. Paid extra to do the dungeon tour which was great fun but we were disappointed that they subsequently wanted to charge a lot extra for copies of the photos they took of us on entering, we declined! There are lots of good food outlets, we particularly enjoyed our meal in Mexicanos on Jury Street. The rest of the town has many historic buildings, we needed longer to explore and hope to revisit soon.Guest review byJulianUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We were only there for a couple of days. But we found a couple of really nice places to eat. A small polish restaurant called Folklore House, if you love large portions this is the place for you. And an excellent small French Restaurant called Eleven. Fantastic food.Guest review byTinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kenilworth Castle is a wonderful place to visit, and I would recommend it to anyone. Likewise Kenilworth itself - there is not much left of the Abbey, but it is definitely worth a stroll through the well-kept and tranquil grounds. The shopping area is well served with a large variety of shops, and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Another thing I noticed was that there are lots of benches where one can stop to rest.Guest review byRodneyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Rugby is a pretty little town with some history.
Rugby is a pretty little town with some history. Most shopping is now in small retail estates on the outskirts, allowing for larger premises and stock. This means the towh centre has small cosy cafes drinking holes and a smattering of charity shops.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Coleshill is a very old market town in a rural setting, currently being torn up and built over to accommodate HS2. The town has always been out on its own but the outer world and HS2 is bring it into the modern drama and noise.Guest review byJennyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I've been to Nuneaton a couple of times now for Jiu-jitsu at Andre Ramos Nuneaton and the place is beautiful. It's got an amazing park for walks, the town centre is bustling with shops, restaurants and pubs. Anything you would need is there. The food is great, a huge variety of cuisines and overall a great place to visitGuest review byMaryIreland - 4.0
Service was not good .
Service was not good . We waited long for check in and 3 times had to use my card as the Internet service was bad at reception and kept declining. Room was smelly and pillows were not comfy and old . No extra pillows provided in the room. At breakfast time waited ages for someone to book us but no one available so we went in to the dinning area . Then a staff member rudely asked what room we are in ! Explained no one was at the front desk so came in after waiting ages and also seen other couples face the same thing during breakfast time . The name of the hotel and what we seen advertised was not the same expectation.Guest review byMohammad TaherUnited Kingdom - 2.0

I stayed one night at this hotel, and unfortunately, the room I had booked was supposed to have large windows. However, when I checked in, I was given an attic room with very small triangular windows. The room was extremely hot throughout the night, and the air conditioning was not working. I asked the reception for help, but they told me that the air conditioning was broken and could not be fixed, and that my room did not have large windows also ther is no ben bag , im not sure how expensive isGuest review byMajidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
