- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,741 reviewsEverything was beautiful. The house was so beautiful. Immaculate. Location lovely facilities nice. Washing machine, at the property and and a dish washer was a luxury to say the least when having 7 for family dinner. It is beautiful for all ages, the swimming pool , sauna and steam room are lovely. The little arcade and shop, with an onsite pharmacy is so convenient. Takeaway wine is very pricey from the bar but they do a mean long island cocktail. XGuest review byJayUnited Kingdom

the location, price, breakfast was good. Let down by the parking fee @ £20, room small, toiletries very cheap, used my own. Went for a funeral so didn't look around, but went to the city center for food as more choice for Gluten Free.Guest review bySuzieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

EXCELLENT staff who were helpful and gave us sime info regarding the 'sights'. Beautifully clean room and comfy beds.. very relaxed atmo. Should have had a small fridge though for water, soft drinks, milk etc AND the shower needed a plunger job. Overall we had a sensational time and our room felt lie 'home' after being out dailly to see the sights. Thank you so much - we WILL be back!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A perennial seaside favourite of ours over the years, always busy but not too commercialised. A great beach. Access to other resorts eg Saltburn, Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough is available by public transport and there is the opportunity to ride on the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway. Plenty of things to do for all ages. The open topped bus will take you up to the abbey ( and Abbey Brewery with its outside sitting area) if you don’t fancy climbing the 199 steps up there. Plenty of great fish restaurants, our favourite is Mr Chips on Church Street ( don’t be put off by the name, it’s excellent). The Angel Hotel ( a Wetherspoons) is always good value and provides good value accommodation. There are also Indian, Thai, Italian and Turkish restaurants to choose from. Choose your accommodation carefully if anyone in your party has walking difficulties as Whitby is quite hilly in places and there are lots of steps up (and down) to some properties and cobbled streets to negotiate.Guest review byPeteUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Worth visiting Harrogate for a couple of nights.
Worth visiting Harrogate for a couple of nights. Lovely gardens and history. Ideal to stop weekend and go onto York. Theatre worth visiting. Loops around hard to get lost. Great places to eat and lovely town. Pump house museum interesting. Piano Italian delicious. Delightful roast dinner at William and Victoria. Fat Badger worth a visit for drinks. Magnesium cafe nice on parkland area.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bradford is a city from the past, run down whilst attempting to be modern, too many tastes to please... Having said all that it is my CITY, I was born in a Bradford suburb went to school there and love it as the place of my birth and childhood. It used to be a proud City now it is a shadow of its former past. Why it can be considered as a 'City of culture' is beyond me... All its history and magnificence is compromised all its character has been replaced by extremist ideologies that DO NOT WORK in harmony and certainly are not on the same page. INCLUSIVITY intentions RESULTS IN EXCLUSIVITY in reality... Revisit history where you can, the Town hall is a very fine building, St Georges Hall and the Alhambra are steeped in history and grand days. The Midland Hotel and Great Victoria need returning to their splendid past, alas as with most things years of damage perhaps means that is impossible. What next 'decent public transport in and out of the city centre would certainly help!!!!Guest review byAlan & KateUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We chose Bridlington as it's reasonably flat and we both suffer from fatigue. There's a couple of little "trains", one for the North shore and one from the south shore, a great way to enjoy the coast. Flamborough Head and Filey are a short drive away. The old town has several antique and art shops to visit.Guest review byLiseUnited Kingdom
