This was our third time staying at this wonderful hotel in Borjomi, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. One of the true highlights is the beautiful terrace — the view is absolutely breathtaking and creates the perfect setting for a peaceful morning coffee or a relaxing evening. We keep coming back for a reason, and we’ll definitely be returning again. Highly recommended!

Newly built guest house. With a great view of the Little Caucasus. We were only there for one night, so it was not possible to enjoy all the possibilities. Very hospitable hosts. Very surprised by the breakfast. We were served a whole breakfast set - different dishes!

What a fabulous guesthouse, the room and dining terrace was spotlessly clean. The room was a decent size with new fittings. The owners have went out their way to make guests as comfortable as possible. There were four rooms in a purpose build accommodation block. The terrace area has good views of the castle and is very pleasant, particularly in the evening. The family were all very friendly, particularly the owners son, Giorgi who was very helpful. They provide evening meals at reasonable prices. (We dined at a local restuarant and regretted it...). The other guests dined at the guesthouse and said it was excellent, great home cooking. Just wish we also had dinner there. It's only ten minutes walk to the entrance of the castle. In summary, outstanding value for money.

    Borjomi in late May was a serene escape. Mornings greeted us with enchanting clouds over pine-covered mountains. We wandered through forest trails, listened to the mountain river, and explored an abandoned railway. The tranquility, enhanced by the off-peak season, made our stay truly peaceful.

    The town itself isn't much to write home about, but has all the facilities needed. The castle is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. Beautifully restored with fantastic photo ops. Its a great stopping off point between east and west, or south and north on a road trip around Georgia.

    place was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — close to forest,yet quiet and relaxing.Host was incredibly welcoming and quick to respond, even sharing great local recommendations that made our trip even better. We felt right at home and would definitely love to return.

    Vardzia completely exceeded my expectations.

    Vardzia completely exceeded my expectations. This incredible cave monastery carved into the cliffs of southern Georgia is not only visually stunning but also rich in history and spiritual energy. Walking through the complex feels like stepping back in time. From narrow tunnels to ancient chapels and breathtaking panoramic views over the valley, every corner tells a story. The scale of the site is impressive, and it’s hard to believe it was built in the 12th century! I also appreciated how well-maintained and accessible the site is. There are signs, pathways, and spots to stop and take in the landscape. If you’re into history, architecture, or just want to experience something truly unique, Vardzia is absolutely worth a visit. Ideal for solo travelers, history buffs, or small groups of friends seeking adventure and culture.

    Borjomi is a famous destination, best known for its legendary natural mineral water. I've visited this place four times over the past ten years, and it never gets old! Just a short drive away is Bakuriani, a charming mountain resort that's also well worth a visit, especially if you're into skiing or enjoying fresh mountain air. You can easily plan a trip from 1 to 3 days depending on your interests. There are plenty of hotels and spa resorts to choose from, and the beautifully maintained parks make this area perfect for a relaxing and refreshing getaway. Borjomi is a true highlight of Georgia — peaceful, scenic, and full of character.

    There's a lot to see in the fortress although it has been quite heavily restored with some totally new buildings. Nothing else in Akhaltsikhe itself but it's a good base for Varzia cave city and Sapara Monastery - always best to arrive early everywhere and you often have the place to yourself (not Varzia, too popular). Beautiful scenery on both trips. (If you have a car that needs washing before returning to the car hire, there's an excellent car wash on the Varzia road.)

    The Vardzia Caves should rank up there as a place to visit on everyone’s bucket list. They are simply amazing. It boggles the mind how these caves were dug out and inhabited over 1000 years ago. I thought the tunnels were superb. Made me feel like a kid again.

    Great destination for families with kids particularly in spring and summer. Get ready to walk a lot and enjoy fresh and oxygenated air during your stay in Borjomi. Food is mainly very tasteful at local restaurants, but same prices as in big cities of Georgia. We enjoyed our food in several places: Old Borjomi, My house, Pesvebi, Plato and Inka. It is really easy to get around the city. Everything is accessible by foot.
