Super nice personnel. They were so friendly and passionate. We there for a tournament in the sports center next door. Perfect location as it also a nice walk to the Venetian harbor. And the personnel even was excited about me competing. We celebrated a silver medal together.

It's not typical from us to go back to the same city twice, let alone staying in the very same accomodation twice! This was our second time staying at Kydon, in two consecutive years, and we will come back! BEST FREDDO CAPPUCCINO and comfiest bed ever! I have to say though that our first time staying here was much more outstanding and this is thanks to the staff here. Rena and Kiki, special shout out to you again! They remembered us from last year, and these are the "little somethings" that makes somebody want to come back. Although everyone was nice this year too, we could feel that it wasn't the same this time. Last year everyone was super happy, smiling all the time, you could feel that they loved what they were doing, but this time we felt that the newbies were not as professional as the ones we recognised from last year. I feel like the people should receive more recognition! Because of last years' experience we will come back at least to say hi to the friends we made here. We came back to Crete because of Kydon and more specifically because of the staff, that worked here. Please have more people like we've met last year work here and give them the recognition they deserve, because it's really the key to success! ❤️

An amazing hotel, definitely one of the best we found on the island. The rooms are new, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and absolutely full with amenities. The breakfast is by far the best we’ve had in our lives and is a must-have! A full offering of the amazing Cretian cuisine. Natasa, the manager, makes things happen in an exquisite way. Under her leadership, the staff are incredible, helped with every request from putting another bed in the room to where the best restaurants are, where the best beaches are. Breakfast was very aunthentic and very tasty. The location is just amazing within a few minutes to the centre of Chania. The rooms.were very crestively decorated and spacious. The balcony was great in the evening with a view of the port. Overall absolutely fantastic for the special occasion we had in Chania.

    The hotel was wonderful — the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious and varied. There was a wide selection of drinks, and the dishes changed daily, which kept things interesting. There was also a great variety of fresh fruits. We were given the exact room we requested, and it was very nice. The staff constantly checked in to see if we needed anything and if everything was okay. They responded to every request immediately, which we really appreciated. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children. The animators truly put in a lot of effort and energy. We are 100% satisfied with our stay!

    We were very happy at this location. Very kind staff, perfect and varied food, daily cleaning, shows organized every evening, that's all you need for your vacation. We rented a car from the hotel to visit the island and we recommend it. They also provided us with transportation to and from the airport. We hope to return next year accompanied by friends.     Chania is sich a loveluy place, the Venetian harbour, lighthouse and narrow streets - all pedestrianised. You do have to walk a little way from the bus or taxi to accommodation. You can go for a horse and carriage drive round the town. The Synagogue is veyr interesting and you can hire a car or take a bus to Souda Bay cemeteries both British and German towns further along the coast from Chania. Such a vast selection of tavernas, good food and prices and they usually offer you a free desert and drink of Raki after the meal. The local people are helpfula nd very welcoming. If it should be windy by the harbour, just one street away it will be calm, away from the wind. There are two Apart from aslight incline in the mains treet it is mostly on the level which is good for older people. beaches. The new market is under refurbishment but will be a wonderful place to visit when it is completed. Many fashion shops and also upmarket boutiques, cermaics and leather goods, coats, bags and sandals. The weather is great from end April until end October.

    Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

    Palaiochora is a little piece of Paradise.

    Palaiochora is a little piece of Paradise. Fantastic beaches , food and scenery. We hired a car and drove around the area, a little scary as the roads in the mountains are rather challenging. We hope to return to this very romantic location some day .

    I love Agia Marina.

    I love Agia Marina. It has the longest beach with sandy shore where one can walk along and/or swim in the beautiful sea. There are ton of restaurants for every palate and B&B or hotels. It is one of my most favorite places to go for vacation.

    All beaches were clean and tidy.

    All beaches were clean and tidy. Enjoyed by the locals, often staying past sundown. Lots of tavernas to enjoy. Short walk to 2 supermarkets if needed, well stocked. Bought cheap loungers from supermarket, which saved a huge amount on sunbeds, as we were there for three weeks!

    We went during school holidays so it was pretty busy but the tourist high street was quiet during the day while everyone was on the beach. The food was excellent. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach bars were also good. The Cretans were very friendly and helpful. Crete has plenty of interesting sites to visit both inland and on the coast. We would happily return.

    The relaxed atmosphere and the lovely apartment at Falassarna beach studio apartments. Excellent breakfast served in the courtyard overlooking the beach. The apartment was spotlessly clean with stunning views from the balcony. Plenty of tavernas nearby serving great food. A lovely beach within walking distance and Big beach a few mins drive away. We recommend having a car. Also walk up to Ancient Falassarna historical site. It is a 20 min walk and well worth it

    It's a small town with some restaurants which are really good. It is more of a tourist village than a local village. However, the food is good, there are supermarkets and souvenir boutique. Additionally, there are some activities to do, and there is a beach. We went there to take our breakfast and sometimes our dinner, but we were more often in other places.

    Massive thing i wish i knew before is the bus system is the cheapest form of travel to and from the Chania airport and is fairly quick and regular, prices starting from 2.50 euros .Stalos was a perfect destination for all age groups , clean , all the bars and restaurants are family/locally owned and all the people are freindly and polite . The beach is clean and easily accessible .

    We have recently returned from an amazing week in Crete staying in Southern Paradise Villas. The villa is amazing. The bedrooms all have on suits and the beds are so comfortable. The villa is modern and fresh with everything you need and the outside pool area was amazing. Added bonus the weather was amazing. The local amenities and beach are very close too. Yes there were villas adjacent to our villa but everyone was quiet, respectful and discreet. And yes there are people living their lives around the location of the villa but that’s the charm This holiday delivered everything we were looking for in our time away. Sun sea, very lovely villa and pool and freedom to come and go as we please.The host Leo was lovely and takes great effort in maintaining his villas to a high standard. We will be returning.
