This was our third trip to Athens it was a brief visit after 11 nights on the island of Sifnos. It is a wonderful place to visit, visiting the Acropolis is a must we also went on the hop on hop off red bus line around Athens this is very informative and really worth the money. We decided to go to the Metropolis Hotel roof garden for breakfast it cost us €30 each but the breakfast was the best ever with stunning views over the Acropolis👍👍Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Loved roaming around old town with its many laneways, shops and restaurants. Close to the port . Beautiful view. Easy town to get around. We walked from Nea Chora and used local buses to get to many out of town locations. Eg. Stavros Elafanissi Falassarna. Favourite beach is Golden Beach (a short walk from Nea Chora). Water was crystal clear and it almost has golden sand. Sand at Nea Chora is brown. We did not find a bad restaurant in Chania. Food was excellent. Service is not always good and some waiters were very rude. Red Jane bakery and Bougatsa Iordanis must visit - excellent.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 6.0

The old Mykonos town is beautiful, unfortunately it's been overrun by cruise ships, tourists and wannabe influencers Once you get to the beach you are welcomed with sunbeds at overinflated prices and mediocre food / service. With so many other islands in the Cyclades, my suggestion is to give this one a missGuest review byMy ArhidiaAustralia - 6.0
The town was buzzing and full of life.
The town was buzzing and full of life. Some excellent restaurants (peskesi a stand out) Beaches were stunning especially when blessed with perfect summer weather. BUT, the traffic is terrible, parking is difficult, road-rules are optional and the lane-ways are very narrow. Visiting Knossos is an absolute must.Guest review byGeorgeAustralia - 8.0

Fira is a great town full of varied shops and fantastic places to eat. It can be expensive so plan a little extra money for food though! There are plenty of things to do an see in the town and the public transport to other areas of the island are quite frequent and cheap. There are lots of steep inclines and stairs so keep that in mind, you'll be doing a lot of walking up hillsGuest review byLawson - 10.0

I traveled with my daughter & grandson from the US to London for a couple of days, then flew to Athens for a cruise leaving the next day. We made our way out of Athens to stay at the cruise port. We were exhausted but our time at the Seaside Hotel was a wonderful reprieve. It was charming, everyone so friendly and accommodating. I regret that we didn't have more time to enjoy it.Guest review byMary LisaUnited States - 4.0
Our ferry was cancelled due to severe weather.
Our ferry was cancelled due to severe weather. Naxos Chora offer free cancellation up to 3pm on the day of arrival. I notified the hotel before 3pm on the arrival day that we could not arrive on the island & wished to cancel that night. We were told later that a refund was not allowed.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.Guest review byBandeleUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The city itself has everything you could ever need and more.
The city itself has everything you could ever need and more. prices are fair and its stunningly beautiful. A city can be beautiful and full of wonderful things to see and do, but its always the people that make your stay. i expected Tourist Fatigue by the time we went in September. But everyone we met was gracious helpful warm and kind.Guest review byColetteUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island.
Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island. The large sidewalks and bike lanes were impressive. The post barriers along streets also great. the benches along Marina provided umbrellas for shade. That was a first! It is a well thought out plan for people. Walkable. Restaurants were diverse and delicious. The one thing missing was traditional live Greek music playing in restaurants or an outdoor venue.Guest review byThe Kotsinis FamilyUnited States
