The regular restaurants are great. The ancient stuff is awesome. The sea is a close by. The people are friendly and helpful. You don't need to speak Greek, a little English is fine. We go there a day or two early arriving from Athens to board our cruise ship. Piraeus is a lovely city. Almost next door is a new building with a bar looking out over the harbour. Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view.
