Hmm at least unbelivable. Maria, Nikos and Family doing all the best to make your stay comfortable. It starts with the very warm welcome goes on with the tranquility you get when you stay in one of the rooms with breathtaking views over the sea and ends with the fantastic food they serve in the taverna. We will comeback for sure!

I don't write reviews except in exceptional cases. I found Metochi Gavdos an exceptional good place. Maria was a joyful and helpful host, the rooms felt spacious and the outside area had a great vibe. One of the best price-quality places I have been to.

Great location, beautiful sea view from the terrace. Well equipped apartment. Very friendly staff, great services, real Greek hospitality! All beaches and/or other places to visit are easily accessible either by local public transport or by car.

A perfect off-grid stay if you’re looking to disconnect. Just a tip for future guests: make sure to bring what you need, especially early in the season. Gavdos is remote—and that’s part of its charm. I should’ve prepared better! It might be nice if each hut had a small alfresco setup outside—maybe a table or surface to prep a coffee or light snack. Nothing fancy, just something to add a bit of independence while keeping the relaxed, rustic vibe.
