- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 469 reviewsThis was our first holiday as a family of three and we wanted it to be absolutely incredible. And guess what? It was everything we hoped it would be! Hotel is really luxury, even with 4⭐️, staff is amazing (we love you Barbara, Oleg will miss you), food is great. It is fairly big but has smaller number of rooms so even with full capacity - not crowded. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is super relaxed. If you’re travelling with a walking baby/toddler - there are not that many places it can hit its head so, very baby friendly! 😂Guest review byBarbaraSerbia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 500 reviewsI had the best time at Cavo Tagoo Mykonos! I come to Mykonos every year for my birthday, and this stay was truly exceptional. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail were perfect — from the beautiful pool area to the stylish rooms and stunning views. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Guest review byJanaCzech Republic

Beautiful, safe town with many local attractions, beautiful historic churches and Venetian port to explore, Central town bustling with cafes, shops and people walking up and down enjoying the sights and sounds of Heraklion. Superb weather September - October. Good value food. Excellent bus service to take buses to other parts of CreteGuest review byHelenAustralia - 10

So much to see. The old town was incredible - so many little side streets with gorgeous restaurants and bars. The new town was great for shopping. Really wonderful place and we want to come back to explore the rest of the island.Guest review byVictoriaTurkey - 10

I stayed 3 nights and managed to do quite a lot, however, I think 1-2 extra days is required to see all there is to offer. I never managed to get to Red Beach which I think I could have managed if I’d stayed one extra night.Guest review byTeaganAustralia - 10

A beautiful, charming little town, small enough to walk from one side to the other in minutes but we spent hours walking around the old town and exploring all the little back streets, shops and the astonishing number of cafes and restaurants. I have a minor mobility issue and used a walking frame with robust wheels - that was problematic in only a handful of areas with steps but even those I managed to negotiate up and down with help from my companion. It could be more difficult and a bumpy ride for anyone in a wheelchair as some streets are cobbled. People were friendly and helpful. The only down side was the mosquitoes, which we now know are a problem at the time of year we went - October. We highly recommend the town as a place to visit for a couple days.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants.
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).Guest review byMarkSwitzerland - 10

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 10
We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather!
We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather! The crowds were not too bad expect for when the cruise ships came in, we avoided the town from 10am to around 1:00pm, evenings during the sunsets it gets crowded but it worth it to watch the sun go down, the sky lights up and is so beautiful, you can't miss it. Schedule a catamaran or private boat cruise, we highly recommend getting on the water to see it from the sea. Great shops and restaurants, you have to have the gelato at Lolita's, it's the best I've ever had!Guest review byNoraUnited States - 6.0

Like many Cretan coastal towns and villages, Rethymno is overwhelmed by us tourists. It's distressing to walk very crowded mediaeval streets surrounded by souvenir shops. The famous bakeries are wonderful and the harbour is really beautiful. Parking has been addressed but the experience is still not pleasant. We found having a drink and a light meal on the waterfront a joyless experience, crowded area and surly service. I would recommend Rethymno for a quick visit to see the Old Town bakeries and the Harbour.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10
The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful.
The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.Guest review byPatriceUnited States
