    First and foremost, the staff is AMAZING! Everything was so smooth starting from the check-in where we were welcomed with fresh lemonade, which was a great touch during hot summer day. Later we were surprised with a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. In fact, we were upgraded again the last day to a room with a sea view. What can i ask for more? ❤️ People at the reception were so awesome helping us with everyday questions and finding places. Thanks for making our holiday FANTASTIC I REALLY do hope to come back!

    The villa is amazing, very well equipped. The rooms are very nice and all of them have an amazing view. The property garden is huge and having breakfast/dinner outside was a big plus for us. The location of the villa is amazing for you to explore all of the island (car/scooter is definently needed because the island is so big and there are tons of beaches to see). All in all, we've had the best time.

    Argostoli is uniquely located within a long bay of beautiful calm waters with a nice stone bridge from one side to the other side, perfect for an evening stroll before sunset. Food and shopping, however, were not as unique as in the other Greek islands.

    Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. You could go for day trips to other beaches, caves and to Ithaka, hire a boat or just stay and relax!

    Not posh or pretentious.

    Not posh or pretentious. Good for a relaxing holiday rather than a one with wild nightlife or prestigious restaurants or exclusive beach clubs. Seemed safe. Most people would go into Argostoli during there trip rather than just stay in Lassi all the time, as it is larger and has many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Taxis between Lassi and Argostoli are not very expensive.

    Lots of choice of bars and restaurants all manned by super friendly staff and food was excellent. Everything was close together along with some restaurants overlooking the lovely Sandy beach which stretched for miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had several day trips out exploring everything this beautiful island had to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Lovely village.

    Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

    Loved Lixouri - lovely people, very pretty in the town by the water, in the square and food delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed ourselves - myself, my husband, daughter and her husband. Only point to note-not far to walk in but uphill walk back.

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

    A scruffy run down port area.

    A scruffy run down port area. Lots of closed nearly derelict buildings. No wonder the taverna owners don’t have much enthusiasm as it’s a dying duck, Water looked minging so we didn’t even bother going in the sea. Beach dirty and covered in rubbish and seaweed. Remetzos bar was quirky and the only restaurant worth going to Otzibars.

    Lovely quiet area, but with ameneties such as supermarkets, restaurants right on your doorstep. No Clubs/Bars etc, banging out kiddie music 24/7 (which is what I call rave/house music....that same beat to every song!!,...... every 'song' sounds the same??....Sh*t!!) OK...Yeah if you (unfortunately) like that kind of thing.....go to Ibiza, Benidorm or Magaluf!!. Lourdhata is the kind of place where you go to unwind & chill out (out of the rat-race). At night you can't even hear a pin drop.....brilliant.

    The beach nearby was quite small and did get busy with holiday makers who were staying in the local area. The location and facilities nearby made it a very popular choice for holiday makers, especially from the UK and it also being quite close to the airport. It is an excellent location to base yourself, especially if like us, you are first time travellers to the Island.
