It was an incredible vacation! Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who also kindly helped us find a last-minute car rental. She is an extremely kind and helpful person, always present at the property and available 24/7 via WhatsApp. YOU Kolona Concept is a place of complete privacy, where you immediately feel at home, and where the service is truly tailored to each guest’s needs. The staff is friendly and attentive to every request. Each morning, breakfast is served either on the private terrace in front of the pool or in the lobby at your preferred time. Great care and attention go into both the preparation and the service. The property also has sun umbrellas on the beach just across the street—undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the island—where you can even enjoy the sunset. The accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos: spotlessly clean, with a breathtaking view and a private pool just for us. We leave our hearts in this place and hope to return soon.

Beautiful location! The rooms were very clean. The people working in the establishment were extremely friendly and helpful. It is very close to the port where you can have some dinner or take a walk. The apartments are also close to the island buses and boats that can take you everywhere to the island. It is very close to a beautiful beach where you can freely swim all day long. 10/10 experience!!! Recommend!!!

The hotel was in an excellent location - on a hillside overlooking the bay and village of Loutra but close enough to walk into the centre and to the beach. The room itself was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. And the hotel staff were very friendly and obliging.

Wonderful place, just like Mrs. Margarita, a person of rare kindness and charm. She went out of her way to help us and made sure we had everything we might need in the apartment. Attentive yet discreet, she strives to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment is beautiful: new, well-maintained and with a fantastic sea view from the equally lovely terrace. It's located on a quiet beach with just one restaurant/bar. Easily accessible, it offers peace and proximity to the sea for those who don't want to search for beaches. I highly recommend it

    Lovely little property literally a 2 minute walk from the port and right in the centre of the small town centre with shops, bars and restaurants all around. lovely room with a separate kitchenette/diner plus a lovely sunny balcony overlooking the square. Next door to a bakery that sold gorgeous pastries for our breakfast sat on our balcony with coffee. Property is clean and well maintained and very traditionally Greek.The restaurants are on the shore and you can literally dangle your legs in the ocean as you eat they are so close on the edge of the sand. The island of Kythnos is beautiful. We have cruised the Caribbean islands several times but Kolonos Beach equals, if not beats a Caribbean beach any day! On the quay, opposite the property, there is a water taxi that will take you over to Kolonos beach for €10 return, you seriously cannot miss a visit to this beach! it is a strip of sand with shallow ocean both sides, it is idyllic but probably gets busy in the height of the season. You must love cats as there are lots that keep you company while you sit on beach front bars and restaurants, they are adorable as are the ducks that wander around the tables. One of my favourite Greek islands but Sssshhh! don’t tell anyone about it!

    Our room was at the top of the beautiful building with stairs up. Everything was working well, bathroom, kitchen and air conditioning. The bed large and comfortable. Very clean and well maintained. The balcony was fantastic, large and with a table and chairs. You could sit in both sun and shade. View of the harbor and the small town. Zoe, our hostess, was very helpful and informative. Within 10 minutes we could walk to the ferry, several restaurants, bars, several supermarkets, car rental and two beaches, one with sunbed and umbrella. After checking out, we could store our suitcases.

    Nice, calm and relaxing space. Wonderful views from the Balcony and Pool. The breakfast served at your Balcony was really nice. They had a very good spread and especially the orange juice 😋 we loved it. Super friendly personal - a big thanx to Nicole and Hirsche ( I hope it’s correct ) for making our stay so memorable. Thank you for the upgrade and the cute gift😊. Would Comeback one day.

    Our suite was beautiful and extremely cleaned - equipped with all the amenities that you might need. The view from the balcony was stunning and every other location (port, xora etc) was in close proximity to get there. Highly recommend staying there and definitely will come back next year. Foteini and Christophoros are great hosts and always available for our questions!

    Was disappointed with Arapis restaurant. Trip advisor reviews were good but my dinner of chicken and rice seemed like uncle Ben’s rice and overcooked frozen chicken. Had fantastic ice cream tho at the Maistrali and lunch at the Veggaria. Such a lovely lady there.

    Episkopi is one very nice sandy beach, close to Merichas (Kythnos' main port), with a very nice beach bar (Puntaki) with great music and polite service and sunbeds with ombrellas. You can also do water sports (kayak available to rent on site).

    We had a wonderful time at this property.

    We had a wonderful time at this property. The location of the house is just perfect — peaceful, calm, and with absolutely stunning views. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Christos was incredibly kind and welcoming; he really stood out as a host. The highlights of our stay were definitely the location, the comfort of the house, and the overall tranquility. Highly recommended! I didn't like that Booking didn't warn that there was a state tourist tax supplement, that it had to be paid on the spot, and that there was no prior notice.

    Kithnos is relatively underdeveloped for tourism.

    Kithnos is relatively underdeveloped for tourism. Sure, there's all the usual tourist traps and gift shops ... but around that is a lot of geniune Greek island culture you can get into easily. Some lovely beaches! Be aware that attractions aren't well signposted and google maps aren't THAT accurate! We will return!
