Excellent services, very nice atmosphere, quiet, a place you can definitely relax. Very close to the beach and nearby the center of Kamari. Everytime we need transfer or other information they were very helpful. Staff was super helpful they booked for us rest reservations and helped with anything we needed. breakfast was good and they have a bar/restaurant at all times. the room was nice and clean. We rented a small car so enjoyed hanging out in the quiet hotel outside the touristy areas , and driving to visit other villages/beaches/ rest when we wanted. Highly recommend

Lovely small hotel with excellent breakfast, great staff with attention to detail and always willing to help. Rooms were more than comfortable, impeccable cleanliness, shampoos are from Rituals (I loved them). They even helped with some laundries free of charge. The shared pool was amazing of course. The town is 10min to Oia, perfect place to stay and enjoy some quietness. Still we can walk to Oia for diner easily. The hotel provides a parking spot.

    The hotel was loooooovely and Haris the lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. She told us everything we needed to know about the island and the easiest ways to get around etc. We were upgraded to a suite with a private pool and it was SO GOOD. I was concerned to begin with as there aren’t many sunbeds around the main pool for the amount of people in the hotel but when we had our own it was perfect!! There was also another very helpful lady who told us it would be 60€ to the port but when she rung she managed to get it down to 40€ which was another nice touch (rather than just telling us that’s what the price was). We loved it so much we enquired about staying another night but with already having another hotel in Ios booked and paid for, it just wasn’t worth the extra cost :( some of my friends have already booked to stay at the end of August on my recommendation!

    Everyone was extremely genuinely friendly, which seems to be the way in the Cyclades. Of course, the breakfast was amazing, and it was in an open-air space protected from the sun. Actually, much of the hotel was open-air, including the reception desk. It was also just across the small road from the beach, and the hotel owns a stretch of beach just for the guests. It is well located to catch the sunrise, which can be spectacular, and even just walking around the neighborhood is interesting as there are a number of small farms and the like. Some ways down the beach are some excellent restaurants. You don't need a car at all if you are just coming to relax. The masseuse at the hotel did an excellent job on me. She could really dig in and get the knots out of my muscles. After my session, I didn't have any aches or pains at night as I otherwise so often do.

    The property is beyond amazing. No words can describe the beauty of the place and this hotel. The infinity pool in our room with the sunset was magical, Super clean with all amenities available. The staff were the best, super friendly and helpful, they recommended for us restaurants and places to visit. Oia was the best place to visit, 10mn ride and they can provide hotel transportation. We had the best wagyu mini burgers in the restaurant at the hotel, we had drinks by the infinity pool and sunset. The hotel is very high standard and classy. It was so far the best hotel i visited around the world. Thank you so much all Cavo tagoo staff specially MANOS he was the sweetest and very helpful ♥️

    We had an amazing stay, hotel is fabulous just as in the photos! Location is the best in our opinion, offering best views of the caldera, scaros rock, sunset and sea from every corner of the hotel, also easy walk to rest of imerovigli and about half hour walk to Fira. Our room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay, pool area is also very chilled and nice (though they dont allow you to consume your own beverages or snacks). Staff is nice and helpful. Our only feedback would be to improve breakfast options and quality, and expand to include non-dairy and gluten-free options.

    Socrates Room (Sunset Villa Socrates with Infinity Pool) is undoubtedly amazing with caldera views, private pool encompassing the mesmerizing Mediterranean Sea and the iconic Oia landscape. Breakfast is delicious and high-quality and of course with caldera view. However, there is no Asian menu. You can enjoy the view while having breakfast started from 8am. Staffs service are excellent. From warm welcomes upon arrival to personalized concierge services and going above and beyond to resolve any issues, the staff consistently creates an exceptional and memorable stay.

    The hotel is the best that you can ever have, literally in everything. I can’t say what is the best, but if I have to choose, it would be the 2 girls and 1 guy in the reception and how friendly and nice and supportive they are. Also the cleaning lady, the chiefs that bring us the breakfast. Unbelievable good.     Louis Studios a very well maintained hotel close the the airport, has a nice pool and very friendly staff. Car rental was also organised by the staff.     Bus companies were well organised, despite chaotic appearance. Used bus from airport, back from Oia, return trip to Akrotiri and to access the port. Drivers were very skilful. Beautiful location. Excellent dining in main street.

    Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even the crowds are a problem! There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’re spoilt for choice. Definitely recommend one of the sunset cruises and also touring the wineries and archeological centre in Akrotiri.

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.

    The beach is fine, enough place for everyone, but I would not stay there longer than one day beacause the sand is only on the beach and when you enter the sea there is only lava. It was interesting experience, but I would definitely not recommend especially if you are travelling with children - it is very slippery and it is easy to fall down and hurt yourself on a rock. The place itself is nice but I doubt I will return to such a beach. But that was nice to try at least :D

    Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

    A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

    Lovely village but getting very busy. Restaurants were excellent and staff in them very polite and attentive. Greece is not cheap these days so you have to pay the same as in UK for meals etc. Wine is very expensive but nice to see that they only sell Greek wine in supermarkets and restaurants.

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me.

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me. Even at the end of the season, the main town of Fira was overcrowded with cruise ship visitors every day, and had some very high prices in the shops and restaurants. Firostefani is only a mile from Fira centre with good communications but is less crowded and (slightly) less expensive. There are plenty of restaurants in Firostefani, the two I liked best were Onar and Aktaion. Also there was a good, reasonably priced take-away called Why Not. Firostefani (and many areas of Santorini) has small mini-markets but no good supermarket. Anyone self-catering would find food shopping expensive and with limited choices. My hotel (Villa Ilias) like many others in Firostefani had spectacular views over the caldera.

    Awesome local villlage with very friendly locals. Great scenery and views, easy to get around hope you like steps. Breakfast at Penelope’s (not Tiffany’s) was fantastic a bit pricey but great food and great views..

    the location is not what it seams, it is just between the main road and other construction sites or empty fields, with no nice view. Overrated prices on booking.com compared with the reception prices or any other nice hotels even in Oia.
