We especially loved the peaceful location, away from the crowds, making it perfect for a romantic getaway. The private terrace was a dream spot for morning coffee and sunset wine. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident throughout.

I think the highlight is the manager Katerina! She is very nice, helpful and hard-worker, it seems she never sleeps lol! The location is great, is a few steps from Vari beach but the bus stop is very close and it takes you to all main beaches and hot spots. The breakfast was very good and Eva and the other guy are very helpful as well! The room is quite and clean and the bed and pillow are comfortable!

I don't know from where to start and where to end. Everything at the hotel Kamelo is far away beyond any expectations. And when I say everything, I really mean it. The people from staff are so kind and warm. We felt so welcomed and we are very grateful we were so inspired to book at Kamelo hotel 12 nights in total, half of our vacation in Syros. Sophia is extraordinary, such a radiant, luminous lady, always with a huge, sincere smile on her face. She runs so elegantly this wonderful hotel. She told us the story of the hotel that was started by her grandfather. It is a business of 3 generations in her family. Fascinating story and fabulous people. We saw Sophia 's father and uncle dancing with so much passion on a live music evening. The Bolas restaurant of the hotel serve amazing food and the prices are very affordable. The hotel is right on a lovely beach into a charming bay with shallow waters, perfect for families with children. The beds are very comfortable. We slept so well. The bus stop is just 150 m from the hotel Kamelo. The buses come regularly and go to Ermoupolis in 20 minutes. We still have other 4 days to stay at Kamelo and enjoy every moment.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, and I got 2 rooms that had a balcony above the sea... It was a top experience. No noise but thw waves. Sunrise. Complete breakfast. Excelent outside spaces. Located 200m from the restaurants, in front of the pier. Definitely a great choice!!!!

This is a perfect family run hotel with a lovely family that runs it. So kind and helpful and happy. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi as an added bonus as it's a few minutes from the beach with those stunning sunsets. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. The Queen of Cyclades

Located in the middle of the Cyclades, the Greek island of Syros is the administrative centre of the region. Having a large Catholic population, this charming island features unique beauty, fertile plains and beautiful beaches.

The capital of Syros and the entire Cyclades, Ermoupolis, is an impressive amphitheatrically built town with old mansions, marble paved streets and lovely hotels. Named after the Greek God of Commerce, Hermes, it has a number of imposing churches, like Agios Nikolaos.

Constructed by Ernst Ziller, the Neoclassical Town Hall of Ermoupolis is one of the most impressive town halls in Greece. You can relax under a palm tree or enjoy a loukoumi (the Greek version of the Turkish delight sweets) in one of the beautiful cafes at Miaoulis Square.     Firstly the property arranged a taxi collection for our arrival at the port which saved time and hassle upon our arrival. Secondly, upon arrival we had the most warm and welcoming greeting at reception where we received local information to help with our stay. It has to be said that the property is outstanding, both the communal areas and the private rooms. It is spotlessly clean, fabulously maintained and well presented. Our room and outdoor area was fabulous. It was spacious with everything you needed for a great stay This is a family run business and although all staff are not all family you don’t know which ones are not related as they all treat it equally so. It has a perfectly personal touch in every area and aspect. Everyone makes their own mark and takes pride in everything they do whilst delivering a five star service to you their valued customer. The breakfast was excellent and in abundance with chef cooking fresh requests. Aegean Paradiso we applaud you and wish you continued success

    Lovely staying ❤️ Amazingly beautiful area, everything is so clean , tight and so relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet around so you can stay at pool any time of the day and read book in calmness and no one disturb you… Location is super ! Stuff is so helpful and friendly. Nikos with George was taking care about breakfast ( by the way the breakfast was very good, dishes change every day , everything fresh , hot , delicious, and soooo many variations of the food, I loved it) . George escorted me to the room and explained basic things and some organising moment and rules. Nikos was so kind and was taking me by car down to the beach ( kind of transfer , just because I was lazy to walk 7 minutes by foot 🤪😁) Sofia was taking care about reception and my booking . I had super good experience with it. All was smooth and easy. She was helping me with check in and check out . Thank you guys for so warm welcoming and good care during my stay 😇🩵

    The hotel is located right opposite the ferry port and stone’s throw away from the bus stand which takes you to the pretty Syros beach villages. Plenty of restaurant options within 5 mins of walking distance around the hotel. The hotel itself has a trendy bar. The staff was super polite and went an extra mile to help us. We don’t eat beef so for breakfast the staff prepared Turkey sandwich especially for us. We fell in love with Syros as well as it’s people.

    Pino di Loto is a real gem on Syros Island. The whole staff (Terezdina, Andreas, Wilma, the cleaning crew and the cats) has been so welcoming and kind! Be it the lovely breakfast on the terrace with everything we needed and more, or all the helpful tipps and hints for activities/restaurants etc. They made us feel like friends and family! We will definitely come back when visiting Syros again!

    Very clean, very well organized and nicely decorated facility, 100 m on foot to the wonderful Galissas beach, very tasty restaurant supervised by a famous chef who also owns the Iliovasilema restaurant next to the hotel, very gentle staff, it is even possible to reach Galissas from Ermopouli by public bus, a supermarket next to the hotel

    Super close to the beach, and nearby restaurants in Kini. Anna-Maria was an amazing host and made us feel right at home - she even offered us sandwiches for our ferry ride after we checked out. Our room had everything we need and had great air conditioning. Highly recommend staying here if you’re after a relaxing break in Kini!

    The location of the property was excellent, being about five minutes walk from the ferry terminal. My room was in the top floor with an amazing sea view and with a small Juliet balcony which was very comfortable.     A beautiful place to stay- an elegant and stylish city with wonderful restaurants and bars. It is easy to access other parts of The island and we loved the proximity of the beaches right in the town itself. We also took the bus to Kini beach which was amazing.

    Fantastic place to stay and unwind.

    Fantastic place to stay and unwind. The beach is great for swimming, shallow and sandy. Close enough to the central town of Ermoupoli boasting some really fantastic sights and great eating places, a must to visit. Galissas is on my list to stay on my next holiday when I visit Syros Island.

    Kini is a delightful small town.

    Kini is a delightful small town. We visited in low season and still had the use of three excellent restaurants, one located ON the beach, which was our favorite spot for the holiday. The main joy was swimming with the many shoals of fish, so snorkel and mask are recommended. The old part of the town is extremely scenic, with many small-holdings with goats, donkeys and 5000 cats to make friends with. We were delighted by what Kini had to offer in late October, and it was a perfect low-season base outside Ermopouli. Well serviced by busses, Best to ask a local where they stop because it's not well signposted, but they are regular, prompt and cheap.

    Lovely place by the sea with all the comforts.

    Lovely place by the sea with all the comforts. It is a place for families, not for a teen-ager. It is very good for anyone over fifty looking for clean beach, comfort and no hassle. There are three restaurants, two bars, free car park and it is ten minutes drive from Ermoupoli. You can get a bus every hour to go to town.

    Vari is a nice bay to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather and food. It is small, and I was impressed by the fact that the beach was adapted for the handicapped - so they can enjoy bathing in the sea as well! I ate at the hotel and at nearby restaurants, with the staff being very friendly in both places, and the food very good.

    Ano Syros, located within what used to be a medieval castle, is just an amazing place to use as your base in Syros, if you do not mind the uphill steps that is. The narrow cobbled streets, the fortress architecture along with a variety of bars and bistros really create a great experience. And the views are just breathtaking!

    If you do not drive then access by bus is spotty, especially in later months of season. Also beware that if you go later in season, the mini market nearby might well be closed. Nearest shop after that is 1.5 miles away, but it is open on Sunday.

    A great island to visit not only for the activities you could do while there, but also for its history and architecture. Loved it. So much to see and do. Great bus service to get you around the island. I went to a concert at the Apollon Theatre, based on La Scala in MIlan. Great places to eat and swim.

    If you enjoy a relaxed and 'back to nature' type of holiday, you will love Galissas. There is a bus service to take you to the main town of Ermoupoli if shopping is 'your thing'. Though it gets quite hot and humid in the main town. Galissas has a small supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, chemist....everything you need. The beach is a short walk from most apartments and if need to take a short drive there's plenty of free public parking.

    Kini is a small fishing town, only 20 mins by bus or taxi from the main port/city. The bus leaves Kini once an hour, check the schedule at the centre of the strip and cost €2 and is very efficient and safe. Kini itself is set up of approx 7/8 restaurants, 2 shops and a couple nice bars and a very good bakery called vitimin sea. Very chilled and relaxed, not touristy like some of the other beaches and no music etc. Would highly recommend visiting Kini for a more relaxed vibe and has the most incredible sunsets.
