- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 226 reviewsEverything was amazing. We got a great modern and comfortable room with a sea view. The breakfast is tasty with loads of options (I really appreciated the fact I could have oat milk cappuccinos made by hand(!!!), not the machine made ones 🥹🙏🏻) The beach is beautiful, sea is so clean! The whole property is really clean with lots of greenery around. Location is convenient with plenty of tavernas around and bus stop for public transport that goes directly to skiathos town. I have to say, however, (as someone working in hospitality myself) that the best part has to be the staff. Everyone is so friendly, approachable, smiling and very personal. Thank you so much for making our stay great and I cannot recommend Princess resort enough.Guest review byBarboraUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$157.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,578 reviewsThe room was truly upmarket and the moon-shaped balcony was spacious with a great side-on view of the foreshore and harbour. The set-out of the room was very neatly arranged with regard to space availability - but the typical "greek-style" shower was large with good fittings and that suited us well. Breakfast was more than we expected. I would rate the breakfast as supurb. Moreover the cappucino's were outstanding, despite having to pay a little extra for them - well worth it though. The location couldn't have been better for us - right on the foreshore. Perfect to board our yacht which was moored almost directly in front of the hotel.Guest review byMalcolmSouth Africa
- From US$187.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 265 reviewsBeautiful, well-kept small hotel with great facilities in Pelion mountains. We booked three rooms at Iokavakis which all were large, clean, and had a jacuzzi and balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea (about 500 m away). Breakfasts were great and served in the garden behind olive trees. The very nice spa is free for two hours a day, but it has to be booked in advance, preferably a day before. There are several good restaurants in a radius of 2-3 km. The hotel is not far away from the beaches at the inner and outer Pelion and from mountain sightseeing sites.Guest review byIlyaIsrael

There wwere 2 parking places which was ok but you need to be a bit careful with the car. The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of good information and places to visit which was worth it a lot. We really appreciate the time that they spent with us on giving some historical details and very nice information about the city. The breakfast options were excellent.Guest review byAnastasiosFrance

Location next to Meteora, town size, great restaurants, friendliness of our hostess, Meteora-e- Bike Rental at Ianninon 4 near roundabout and square where we rented bikes first day for sunset tour and second day in our own to visit Monasteries. We were also fortunate to watch a procession in town to celebrate Saint Francis of Assisi that included monks, priests, folks in traditional dress, and a marching band.Guest review byBonnieUnited States - 10.0

Vibrant town full of bars and restaurants in tight , usually traffic free streets. Most of the traffic is mopeds, as many of the streets have steps from when it used to be donkey traffic. Food is not cheap, probably slightly dearer than the Uk, but there are some excellent restaurants that are only a touch dearer than the not so good. You just have to find them! Hire car is not required, as there is an excellent bus service, right from the airport. Max 3€ per trip The town is on a hill going up from the port, so expect to do some walking up steps if you want to see all of the town. No loud music that we came across which was good. Don’t be deterred by the Mamma Mia tours!😆Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.Guest review byshoshaiIsrael - 10.0

Skopelos town is beautiful as you would expect and you have everything you need a short stroll away. Supermarkets, bakeries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Amazing in the evening and very vibrant. Romantic dinners by the shore along with cool cocktail bars in the backstreets. Great vibe.Guest review byChristosAustralia - 10.0

This was a great city. A lot of bicycle traffic. People very friendly. A nice small hometown feel for 60,000 population town. Several great museums. A wonderful stroll along the river. A great place to people watch on the main Avenue. Check out the Ottoman and Byzantine ruins..Guest review byconstantineUnited States - 10.0

Alonnissos has great beaches, excellent food (traditional and modern), nice weather and a few folklore and antiquities (mainly on the Ottoman period, while some underwater archaeological sites are developing right now). It's good to have a car (and even better a 4X4), since most beaches are not in walking distance. Chora (the old village) is really pittoresque.Guest review byCostisGreece - 10.0

Lovely beachfront with great restaurants - with the backdrop of green forested mountains. Beautiful, but you also need to hire a vehicle to get around the mountain passes to other picture perfect beaches like Milopotamos or Ntamouchari.Guest review byGarySouth Africa - 10.0

Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.Guest review byPIALIISAGreece - 10.0
This is a spacious and well thought out property .
This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom
