The location was amazing. 5 minute walk to the ferry dock & less than 10 minute walk to main town square. small but nice beach directly in front of hotel. You could use the hotel's sun beds for free & walk 1 minute to the beach whenever you wanted a dip in the sea. The rooms were modern & very clean. Our balcony had a fantastic view of the monastery & the beach. The breakfast area is a great spot to eat & enjoy the views. Good selection of food options plus you can order fresh made food off the menu. The quality of the food was great. The staff were very pleasant & helpful in proving local information.

Everything was perfect! - beautiful place which was not crowded in June and close to the lovely center of Stari Grad - villas are equipped with everything you need with great relaxing opportunities on the terrace - great kid's club with many rooms and great toys and very friendly staff - super entertainment program for adults (aqua aerobic, bicycle, kayaking) and for children (especially mini disco) - delicious food, great choice - staff is really amazing, especially Dušan (sports) and Yunanta (waiter) - super swimming pools and slides - love also the environmental aspects (solar energy, wood and stones used in villas in ok)

Our stay was fantastic! The room was excellent and spacious, with a lovely balcony. Everything was super clean, and the reception staff was amazing—they were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was great, and there was a quiet beach right there. Our family of five ( 2 seniors, 3 adult children) were greeted at the ferry by the hotel porters who were fantastic in taking all of our bags and then greeted us at the hotel with a glass of Prosecco, a lovely touch. Check in was swift and efficient and the rooms - WOW! We were lucky enough to have rooms overlooking the port of Hvar which is such a beautiful view. Also, the Top Bar is an amazing venue and modestly priced. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Port is great with a full buffet available and a la carte options also available. The staff are friendly and welcoming and we couldn't have had a better stay. Fabulous place!

Great experience from the first to the last step in this hotel. Very warm welcome with cold towels and a glass of champaigne. A special surprise was an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was really stunning, with the best view in town. Very elegant room design with the seamless service. Every day during the turn down service we got different amenities: chocolate, cognac, traditional cookies. Luxury Guerlain bathroom amenities were replaced every day. Beautiful a la cart breakfast: matcha latte and avocado toast were my choice, that is not so easy to find in other, even 5 stars hotels in Croatia. Great spa area. Free sunbeds on the most exclusive beach in Hvar, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

We actually didn´t expect so good experience taking into account that it was All Inclusive hotel, 3* and current rate 8.4 - I would say, it is more. We loved the vibe. The DJ playing great tunes all arvo. The food. The comfy bed. The room. The balcony. The breakfast. It was all great. The place is in Stari Grad which is 22km from Hvar Old Town. If you like being closer to the Old Town, little Streets restaurants and bars, this IS NOT the place for you. But if you like the idea of a stunning pool, loads of lounges, bar by the pool, a beach, and transport options arranged by the hotel, on-site restaurant with lots of options, then you will enjoy it here.

Our stay at Hotel Hvar was wonderful. We chose the All-Inclusive option and loved the food. At each meal, we could choose from a great variety of freshly prepared and tasty dishes. Our joined rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. The location is fantastic. We walked to different beaches in the vicinity and the town of Jelsa is close by and is stunning. We found the staff very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Nikola the barman and the wonderful team in the dining room who were fast to take care of us and willing to stop for a chat. All in all, the staff made our stay extra special. Thank you.

Great location and experience. They have a shuttle for luggage that take your stuff when you arrive by ferry and you can do a short 15 min walk. Make sure u walk on the promenade against the sea as google takes you through a more difficult route. The breakfast was really good and the food and drinks at the bar were great. The pool area is very clean and fun to be around and the views are beautiful. Very helpful staff.

    I loved Hvar.

I loved Hvar. Scenery beautiful, great restaurants in the town at the back of the main square, very pretty settings some are expensive to other European travels I've been on. Our favourite restaurants were Black Pepper, Fig, Junior. Would not choose to visit July/August main town can be very busy. Sun beds along the coast can be expensive to hire. Saying this I travelled as a couple In September and we loved Hvar.

Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this place is long enough for me. Jelsa is a great resort that offers many great restaurants, authentic shops with local products, but especially a rich cultural program. The same applies to the neighboring village of Vrboska. I recommend renting a bicycle for the entire stay and getting to know the beauty of the island in this way - be it natural beaches, old streets or vineyards.

    Beautiful quiet and friendly location.

Beautiful quiet and friendly location. Well worth the extra effort to travel a bit further. Very unspoilt with lots of passing yachts calling in for overnight stops or longer. About a dozen or so places to eat, very friendly people. Pint of lager 3.5 euros. A lovely glass of local white wine 4 euros. Four coffees about 10 euros. Beautiful food, especially if you want fresh fish straight out the sea. 👌😎

The accommodation is located right by the beach and the locality is quiet with not many tourists. There was everything we needed in the apartment. The terrace was very spacious and overlooked the sea with the beach. There are wooden shutters to eliminate the sun and mosquito nets in every window. The apartment is very quiet at night due to the tight windows and shutters. The kitchen is well-equipped with a spacious dining table and a large sitting room. One of the bedrooms has a door leading to the terrace with a sea view, which was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the large terrace on comfortable sunbeds, which I think is the best part of the apartment. The owners provided us with beach towels and beach mats. There is a small bakery right behind the house with fresh pastry and bread, and a grocery store 500m far from the house. There is a lovely restaurant by the beach with nice food, and another one just a 15-minute walk from the apartment, Skalinada restaurant, with amazing views and a great menu of fish and seafood.

Sucuraj is a peaceful, charming town, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. The sea is very close, so you can reach the beach easily from almost anywhere. There are plenty of good restaurants serving local dishes. Another big advantage is its location right by the ferry, so you don’t need to drive across the entire island on narrow, winding roads.

A lovely town, with so many nice people. It’s very calm a tranquil compared to the city of Hvar. But you still have some restaurants to choose from, a local baker, an ice cream stand and a mini market. The main beach is beautiful and you even have several other beaches in walking distance.

Nice place for families woth small children.

Nice place for families woth small children. Small village, mostly tourist houses. Nice beach, everything walking distance. Very quiet, only one restaurant, one shop (a bit to small, to get everything one would need) and few bars. I suggest you try the local vine, sold next to the supermarket. At the end of August the is a fishermen festival, where you can taste fish and other sea food. ATTENTION: The road from Jelsa to Ivan Dolac is very narrow and curvy, some sections are a bit unpleasant. It didn't bother us, but if you are not used to drive on such roads, then it might be very stressful for you (you will need to take the road it least a few times, since there is only a small shop and one reastaurant in Ivan Dolac, for the rest you need to go to Jelsa or elsewhere). Furthermore, there is a narrow and low tunnel on the road, which is impossible to drive though with a van.

Idyllic, a bit remote. Not too many people there even in the main season, beautiful beaches! Has a bakery (open 7-10 am) and someone who sells local products next to it, next mini market is in Ivan Dolac. Also a great starting location for hiking or biking up to Sveti Nikola (there even is a nice via ferrata and a place for climbing). On gravel roads aside of the main rodes I'd recommend a SUV or a mountainbike!
