Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).Guest review byTimmerman - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany - 8.0
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination.
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination. Croatian government removed the tool boot fee from the Saint Ilija tunnel and travelers can shorten their travel into the mountains and back significantly and save some money. You have different restaurants so you can pick what you like the most. It is easy to navigate around Tucepi and visit other spots. Sport activities are heavily affected by heat but you always have the swimming and other activities, like boating, parachute gliding and such. You can always buy fresh fruit from the locals that stop right at the beach.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I had a fantastic stay at Medora Auri Family Beach Resort.
I had a fantastic stay at Medora Auri Family Beach Resort. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was modern and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling – they really made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, right by the beach with beautiful views. The food was delicious with a great variety at breakfast and dinner. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable.Guest review byDjajic - 8.0

The scenery is great, the sea and the beaches are not sand , but small pebbles. The hill, on which the town located is steep. Climbing to the beach and back required some strength. But there is only one grocery store, the prices are on the higher end because there is no competition, the selection of food items is limited. The big crowd everywhere, the town seemed to be loved by polish people and they are loud. The scenery is spectacular and very enjoyableGuest review byOlgaGermany - 10.0

The town itself is small, but it had everything we needed, maybe just a bit more street food would have been nice. We especially loved the beach — lots of trees and shade for children, beautiful clear sea with fish. During the high season it does get very crowded.Guest review byLuciaSlovakia - 10.0
Gradac has a beautiful beach.
Gradac has a beautiful beach. It is probably few kilometers long, and the old trees leaning over the beach create a rich shade throughout the day. In the morning, we walked along the beach all the way to the end of the trail by the sea. At night, we enjoyed our long walks through the town. The entire place is very bright and lively. Restaurants and cafes look like luxurious places from the fancy magazines. Gradac is definitely a great place everyone should visit in summer.Guest review byVesnaCanada - 10.0
Drvenik is a small town that isn't very old, so it has...
Drvenik is a small town that isn't very old, so it has decent infrastructure. The beach is excellent, though the crowds can be exceptional. Along the beach, there are many taverns, a shop that is open all day, a few bakeries, pastry shops, and several solid restaurants. The town also has a charging station for electric vehicles (AC 11kW). In short, you can spend your vacation here without using a car because everything is close at hand. The sea is excellent, with not many waves. A ferry also docks in the town. At first, this is interesting, but after a few days, it might bother some people, as the port is quite close to the main beach—perhaps 50 to 100 meters away. However, this won't bother most people, as the ferry runs every hour or two. In between, it is peaceful.Guest review bySimonSketaSlovenia - 6.0

After the season (end of September) there is not much going on there. Many places are already closed - restaurants and shops. Parking is difficult in the area, and at the same time you can't get around without a car. A plus is a large store - Plodine.Guest review byDorotaPoland
