You can sleep well since the resort is calm and the breakfast is up to 11.00. The breakfast was really amazing, with plenty of choice, from fresh fruits and vegetables to the most delicious toasts. The beach is just a few minutes away and the city of Bol is easily accesible on foot, walking along the shoreline on the promenade. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. First trip to Croatia, and glad we chose Hvar Island. Stayed walking distance outside Stari Grad, picked location as quieter than Hvar town. In hind sight would stay first few days in Stari Grad and finish stay in Hvar town to be closer to port. Supetar was great for a relaxing coffee and ice cream by the harbour and has useful supermarkets for a self-catering holiday. Along the coast there are several small coves and pebbly beaches for swimming. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an incredible villa a couple blocks from water and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful, quaint, and relaxing environments we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the charm of the location—it felt like a true escape from the everyday. A true hidden gem that I almost didn't want to write a review about so I can keep it to my self! Favorite pizza was at Hotel Lipa and our favorite meal was at Dvor. Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this place is long enough for me. Jelsa is a great resort that offers many great restaurants, authentic shops with local products, but especially a rich cultural program. The same applies to the neighboring village of Vrboska. It’s so pretty. A lovely change from crowded split. We have visited a few islands and this one is my favorite so far. Milna is pretty with everything you need within walking distance. Beautiful quiet and friendly location. Well worth the extra effort to travel a bit further. Very unspoilt with lots of passing yachts calling in for overnight stops or longer. About a dozen or so places to eat, very friendly people. Pint of lager 3.5 euros. A lovely glass of local white wine 4 euros. Four coffees about 10 euros.
