Liked the location which is still in the city, but in a quiet suburban area. The hotel and the rooms and exceptionally well designed. The spa is just perfect very high quality sauna and jacuzzi. The cleaniness of the hotel is also exceptional. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great also:)

The receptionist was exceptional friendly and helpful. I arrived very late and the kitchen was already closed, but he still organized me a vegan diner and some fresh draft beer to eat in my room. In general the staff didn't do just small-talk or business-politeness, it was a natural friendliness. I had the feeling that they like their work and that reflects back to the guests. The room (suite) was clean, quiet and had german TV channels. The breakfast buffet was well organized from egg varieties, jam, fruits, juices, different bread - something for every taste - way more than just the basics. My stay was short, but if i ever have to stop for the night again in the area -> it will be here!

    Zsolt and his family made us feel at home. Zsófi gave us a tour of the place and the animals they have and tips of where we could go for a short walk in the nature, we're super thankful. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast prepared with lots of care and love. We will definitely come back to spend more time there.

    We stopped here on our way back from Greece.

    We stopped here on our way back from Greece. We were only in the center, which we were excited about! The central squares are connected. There is a beautiful Art Nouveau town hall, an Art Nouveau palace and several churches of different denominations. But what surprised us the most was the amount of greenery and fountains, which was very refreshing in the summer heat.

    Directly off the M5 motorway towards Budapest.

    Directly off the M5 motorway towards Budapest. Has free parking and 24 hour services. Safe as it has CCTV. Excellent restaurant and bar. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We had our dog with us and she was facilitated too We all slept well as the room was sound proofed.Definitely great value for money . The biggest plus and what made our return visit is the lovely friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. We'll be back.

    A quiet town full of greenery and flowers. Clean and tidy streets. Worth seeing are the pepper museum, the cybernetic tower CHRONOS 8 and the archbishop's library with priceless old atlases, globes and books.

    I would really recommend visiting Varga Tanya near...

    I would really recommend visiting Varga Tanya near Kerekegyháza. We had an amazing time there, the staff was really helpful and kind to us. It has wellness facilities as well, including a jacuzzi and a sauna, and much more. They serve delicious food there for both breakfast and dinner, which includes traditional hungarian dishes as well. The great plain in the neighbourhood is perfect for a long walk. It is very close to nature and has a quiet, calm atmosphere where you can get away from the noise of the city and enjoy some relaxed quiet time.

    Cute little town, kind and helpful people. There were many programs when we stayed in the city, circus, garden cinema etc. There is a fantastic little restaurant called Tanya Csarda that we really recommend to anyone.

    A very pretty small town with interesting architecture. We were there because a relative was in the local (very good) hospital, but the stay was very pleasant, the people friendly and the food good and varied. We got free travel to and from the hospital because of our age!

    We visited a couple of museums.

    We visited a couple of museums. They were quite cheap but interesting. The first a folk museum had a fascinating collection of rocks and gemstones and information about the history of Hungary with traditional lace costumes and painted pottery. The paprika museum was interesting and had information in Hungarian,English and German ( and possibly French)on the types of pepper and how the crop is harvested and prepared to make different strengths of paprika. There was also information on local vineyards and types of wine. The town centre is being repaved at the moment but lots of interesting historical monuments and statues to see. Locals very helpful directing us to a local cafe with ice cream. Lovely Italian restaurant il Primo.

    If you want away from the mass tourism, small town, small problems, cheap local food, very nice local market. train is cheap but the service is not too good quality, old cars and no AC, delays. Architecture is typical hungarian country side. In summer could be very hot.
